There will be fun stuff for everyone!... 12-3pm Jumping castle for the kids while the adults relax and enjoy a yummy BBQ treat 3-4pm ‘Happy Hour’ with espresso martini’s on the menu 3-6pm DJ William in the house to pump out some awesome tunes As this will be mainly an outdoor ‘car park party’ please bring your camping chairs and gazebos to set up for some shade. Also please feel free to BYO drinks and esky’s if you want to enjoy something in addition to our happy hour martini’s. The theme will be Black and White (obvious choice ) so have some fun and get creative with your outfits or costumes.... there may even be some ‘Best Dressed’ awards to be won! Todays grading is the final day of the last 5 weeks of programming for the kids learning the fundamentals of Muay Thai. Some of them passed and will be moving on to some more advanced techniques next Term, some of them will be revisiting the fundamentals, but today everyone had fun and were encouraged to push themselves to a new level, what ever that may ...be for them. 15.01.2022 . WHAT A NIGHT What an absolutely EPIC night of fights on Saturday and what an amazing performance from all 6 of our Fight Academy fighters. 3 close split point wins to start off the night from Caleb, Yohan and Beno, all winning over the judges with an awesome display of Muay Thai. Tristan took a huge win in the first few seconds of round 1 with a devastating HIGHLIGHT-REEL head kick KO and is now eyeing off a title shot of his own. Kristen displayed the true Fight Academy ...spirit and was willing to die before laying over and losing that title and she pushed through an epic 5 round war taking some hard shots and lost the title, but won over the hearts of our community with her TOUGH performance. The TANK was last up for our crew and showed how dangerous he is, landing a very clean overhand right in the second round, putting down his opponent and taking home his second title belt in two different weight divisions... so I guess we now have to call him the CHAMP, CHAMP!!!! 13.01.2022 . JUNIOR GRADING & MOVIE NIGHT . This Saturday 9:15am we are holding a kids grading with all the challenges we have been covering in class over the past 5 weeks. Grading will be for all kids to attend and will be a great opportunity for the kids in our Junior Muay Thai program to test themselves and their skills and help them progress through our junior program. ... As part of their grading all kids need to be in their full uniform, including Muay Thai shorts, gym singlet/shirt, gloves, wraps, shin pads and mouth guard, they also need to bring their shoes to grading as there will be a timed running challenge. Depending on attendance numbers the grading will be approximately 1.5hrs and is no extra cost. We are looking forward to seeing all our kids in the gym Saturday, please book through our ZenPlanner member app .
