25.01.2022 This weekend Tourism Australia will be sharing a series of virtual travel experiences across its social media channels in an epic first-ever LIVE program. We a...re very excited to be part of the event and invite you to join celebrity chef Matt Evans of Fat Pig Farm and our very own executive chef Zane Denmen as they cook up a storm using delicious Discover Tasmania produce. Well then take you on the ultimate Tassie adventure before retreating to the lodge deck for a glass of local sparkling paired with unbelievable ocean views. To catch the segment tune in on our Facebook page at 11:00 AM AEST Sunday, May 17. Set your reminders and sit back and enjoy the white sandy beaches and wild coastlines of the Bay of Fires Lodge Walk - virtually, of course. #taswalkingco Australia.com Great Walks of Australia #seeaustralia

23.01.2022 State forests are government owned and managed land. That means it's land paid for and owned by us, the taxpayers. While these forests are technically owned by ...the people of Tasmania, and we subsidise loss making native forest logging in our native forests, we are also locked out of them by Sustainable Timbers Tasmania. In the past few days the government business enterprise Sustainable Timbers Tasmania has put up these gates locking us out of mutual valley coupe CC160B where we've been carrying out citizen science surveys. It is a matter of days till they log this critical habitat link between the Blue Tier and #bluederby forests. Help us protect our forests by calling on Premier Peter Gutwein @petergutweinmp to stop logging our Gondwanic remnant forests immediately. #worthmorestanding #savetassiesforests #tasmanian #gondwana #forests
