14.01.2022 Hi All, Thanks so much for hopping on my page and giving it a big thumbs up! Since January when I started my business ‘Destiny Tourism Solutions’, the last 8 months have been pretty interesting to say the least with the way Covid has reshaped the tourism industry. My first two clients, Wings Whitsunday Adventures and Waltzing Matilda Sailing have both concentrated a lot in both the international and domestic markets. On the 18th March, I returned back from an East Coast Sales... trip and had to put in place a different game change since my business was still new and I could not access any government funding in the way of Job Keeper or grants. Being in a tourism hub in North Queensland with borders shut down south, I soon found that I could use my skills and relationships that I have built up over the years to start up a little distribution service for select tourism operators to capture the drive market in our Queensland bubble between Mackay and Port Douglas for a small fee. In the last few weeks. thanks to a lot of support from a few of my industry family my portfolio has now grown and I will be representing the following businesses; Wings Whitsunday Adventures Waltzing Matilda Sailing Red Cat Adventures Cairns Discovery Tours Cairns Reef Info Centre Brett’s Taste of the Outback Cairns Aquarium Beach Camp Retreat on Kgari (Fraser Island)
