25.01.2022 This car's paintwork needed some serious effort to bring back. Being an ex-rental car with 50K km on the clock it had been subject to constant improper washing and drying techniques which create a swirly (uneven) paint surface. It received a 3-stage paint correction; first to remove the dry top layer of the clear coat, second to level the paintwork and third to create depth and gloss.... #brisbanedetailing #mobiledetailing #paintcorrection #paintprotection #ceramiccoating @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

19.01.2022 This 50s Holden FJ Ute received a 2 stage correction after some panels had been resprayed, but then poorly polished by the spray painter. It is quite common that after respraying the spray painter will try to get rid of any dust nibs in the paintwork by sanding and roughly polishing out the sanding marks.

16.01.2022 This customer booked her car in for a 2 stage paint correction to make it look great for the new owner and receive top dollar for the car. The procedures were done using #gyeon compound, polish, pads and paintwork sealed with #gyeonwetcoat.

10.01.2022 CLAYING - Clay barring or mechanical decontamination removes fallout like iron particles and paint overspray from your paintwork and even glass. Iron fallout lands on to the paint usually when the car is parked near a railway because there is train brake dust in the air. It makes the paint feel rough to the touch even after washing. Overspray is usually seen as little white or clear dots on the car from being parked at or near a panel shop and there are paint particles in the... air that land on the car. Decontamination of the paint should be done 2-3 times a year to keep the paintwork clean and ceramic coatings hydrophobic.

02.01.2022 Some much-needed paint correction was given to a 22-year-old car. Paint oxidization (chalky paint) happens when the sun dries out the oil content in the paint. The next step is clear coat failure and the panel has to be resprayed. Waxes, spray sealants and ceramic coatings prevent this from happening. In this case, the bonnet was saved and protected with a spray sealant.
