08.01.2022 After a couple of days of work, we finished this HQ Sandman. The owner of this sandman wanted the orange peel removed from the paintwork, then finished off with a ceramic coating. So we got to work!... Started with the normal wash and paint decontamination to prepare the surface for removing paint defects. The defect removal started with 1500 grit wetsanding to remove the surface orange peel and refine with multiple stages. The multiple stages of refinement: - 1500, 2000 and 3000 grit wetsanding - 3 stages of paint correction to remove the wetdanding marks and polish the paint to immaculate! Once the paint is defect free, we gave it a final Gtechniq panel wipe, then coated the car in GTECHNIQ CRYSTAL SERUM ULTRA!!! 02.01.2022 Ceramic Coating + HSV Maloo GTS This HSV had medium to light swirling. So what did we do? Due to the nature of black, you need to go into extensive work as EVERYTHING shows up.... The HSV Black is actually quite a durable paint. So due durable black paint we went into 3 stages of Paint correction. Once the paint was corrected, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra was applied!
