24.01.2022 Spending a week down in brisbane this week. No relaxation tho. A few cars to get done in between other things. 1st cab off the rank is a 2018 Ranger Gave me a fair fight this one. Humidity changing the way the compound works added another few hours to the job. But got it sorted eventually. It needed some love too after an unfortunate cleaning mishap with a car wash broom but its sorted now... How good does black paint in its prime look

24.01.2022 Something different in for some love recently. Robs RB powered Sil80, this car has been around for quite a while now and has some cool bits throughout, its pretty well setup to be a competent track car, but has everything needed to be a reliable street car legally as well. Even has Air conditioning Came in for a bit of a tidy up to potentially go on the market in the near future and while paint was far from perfect it showed a lot more potential than most would see on face ...value. And gave a lot more than I was expecting. 3 stages and a bit of a denib in a couple of different area's changed it dramatically, topped off with Queensland's own BlackHawk Car Care limitless 2.0 ceramic coating Interior was much the same, GTR seats and rear seats and trims came out for a full clean and shampoo after Cool Tints Townsville worked his magic on the windows inculding that 14 hectare rear hatch window, All done in house All in all 18 hours went into this including being very careful with some NOS indicators n headlights. 22.01.2022 Minor detail, late 50s Morris Minor 1000 restoration detail that is Last registered in 2003 and still has dealership delivery print on the window in the form of the running in procedure and sticker on the rear window from new as well this lil car came into me in fairly decent shape but after sitting for a bit of time it needed some love. The aim on tbis one is originality rather than perfection and not taking away from its charm or condition. ... Took a fair bit of time but its pretty much as it needs to be, and ready for its next step of getting back to being a driver Love getting to do cars from bygone automotive era's its bloody cool and a privilege to get to be part of their journey

22.01.2022 Brendan's midnight edition Silverado was in for some help recently. After getting into a spot of bother n ending up with some pin striping from a few trees it came in to have some cosmetic attention n on inspection found that the ceramic coating (applied when the previous owner had it applied elsewhere) was failing after 3 years. The decision was made to remove the old coating correct the paint and apply a fresh coat BlackHawk Car Care Limitless 2.0 for piece of mind and to k...eep the paint protected. To get this back to where it is today was no easy or quick job. 3 full days all up for a 3 stage correction not including the coating removal, then application of Limitless. 22.01.2022 1st propper detail of its life, this Mercedes-Benz GLA250 came in for a bit of overdue love. Paint was good but after the usual 5 years of washin n cleaning was swirl city so a full paint correction was what it received. And gave it the shine it deserved, topped of by some Angelwax Ti22 Titanium spray coating and H2Go window coating to protect it from the elements. Inside received attention as well with a full clean shampoo and 2 stage leather treatment so is back to as new condition. Happy with the results on this one

19.01.2022 Had this GC8 come in for a full detail and wet sand recently, while not to all tastes you can appreciate the effort the owner put into the airbrushing himself at home, definitely an example of what can be achieved if you put your mind to it n have a go. Even without a spray booth. It was in for Shane The Subaru Doctor Townsville to bring to life after an extended period of the road and Cool Tints Townsville to tint the windows while here as well. There was a lot of time collectively put into this car while in our car including around 20 hours in the paint alone, glad to see Gary the owner out enjoying it and driving it all the time and the finished result speaks for itself. This is the stuff i love to do. It was tedious snd time consuming but soooo worth it for the final result

18.01.2022 Had a mildly modded forrester in for a pre sale detail, was a lil tired in the paint department with our harsh climate and UV stresses, and had the usual interior stuff for a car on family duties for many years but all in all is well looked after. As you can see the finished result is back to almost the condition it was sold in. 18.01.2022 Some tired HSV calipers came in recently for a bit of a spruce up and colour change. Came out pretty nice after i had my way with the castings, smoothing, leveling and removing seems etc. Makes for a much better result. Psint was done by Brian at Autocolour Refinishing, does a pretty good job Will pop a lil more being as bright as the sun

15.01.2022 It's time for a new giveaway. 2020 has been a of a rollercoaster so far and has hit some people a bit harder than others, especially since the start of the COVID 19 stuff. 15.01.2022 Had Jamies new car in for a paint restoration and sticker removal to bring it back recently. The black paint was not in horrible condition but looked tired and a bit neglected. Took a fair bit of time but the results speak for themselves here and its back to to looking new and ready for its new life, topped off with a 2 stage wax starting with Angelwax Ti22 and topped with The 5th Eliment it pops too Thanks Jamie for trusting me with your new pride n joy, scrubs up alright aye Enjoy

13.01.2022 This Rav 4 was dropped off by a good customer for a tidy up to be a new work car and general run around. 14 hours of detailing later its looking as good as humanly possible. After years of family duties n general neglect it was in a sorry state, To start with it spent a few days at The Subaru Doctor Townsville for some mechanical repairs in preparation for a roadworthy and yo be safe on the road, then it had some tint Love from Cool Tints Townsville with darkest legal fronts... and privacy everywhere else to keep out as much heat and UV stress as possible like only tint can do, then I went to town on it. It really was a team effort on this one Not 1 part on this car didnt get attention in the clean then it was topped off with a spray on Quartz Coating from BlackHawk Car Care and window coating as well While far from perfect its an honest worker in respectable codition now. And ready to get on with its job

11.01.2022 Had something special in over the last lil bit. CHV SUX. Formerly in street machine magazine when originally finished nearly 15 years ago and has been here for nearly as long. This received the full treatment to bring it back to its best with a painstakingly time consuming detail, nothing was in bad shape in any way but the approach you use on a custom car of this quality is as far from the usual single stage correction and spray wax as you can get. Was a joy to spend near o...n 30 hours all up correcting, cleaning, treating and protectiong and for this there are really only 2 names you need to remember Briliant Polish for shine n protection of all exposed metal and Angelwax for the protection of everything else. And their Their 5th Element Wax was the only thing trusted to bring out the colour like only high end wax like theirs can do. That Blueprint Pearl paint colour is as in your face as you will get with the extra slap in the face the Angelwax experience gives you, Enjoy guys. Was a pleasure to get to spend time with this car Thanks again Shane for letting me fondle with your car and Cameron Turner for the sweet pics as usuall

10.01.2022 This was a joy to work on. I do love my Aussie v8 sedans but this was a lil more enjoyable. Older bloke owns it n still loves his manual v8 Au This one come to me in pretty good shape with new paint and some rust repairs already done and an owner that cant keep up the maintenance like he used to. So i did the hard yards to bring it back and make it mint then protected and set about making it easier to clean when he sets about maintaining it. First up it was a full exterior c...lean, engine bay detail and decontamination followed by a a light wet sand on the bonnet and a 3 stage paint correction to bring out the shine from an off the gun paint job. It came up a treat after that as you can see, then applied Ti22 by Angelwax spray coating on top for protection Interior copped the same effort with a full shampoo of all carpets seats and fabrics and all trims and dash were clean before being treated to protect them from the heat and sun as this car is a driver and it gets driven often. Love the finished result on this one. Good to see it in good hands and glad to be a part of its journey in life. Modern classics like all classics deserve to be treated right, no matter how much dollar value they have.

09.01.2022 Not every day you get to make something like this look better, but some days you get real lucky like I did with this. 1965 XP falcon hardtop with a lil supercharged windsor in it. Sounds as good as it looks too. In for some paint love including a lil bit of wet sanding. It came up like a sheet of glass ... 4 stages of correction in all znd finished of with Ti22 by Angelwax and the 5th Element wax too Enjoy the pics guys and thanks to Mervyn Jackson for letting me work with this bloody ripper of a car

07.01.2022 This R33 came in looking tired n past it best, oxidation had it bad enough to have no reflection at all on half the panels, paint is far from perfect but looking as good as it possibly can now with a lil bit of buff love It doesn't need to be a valuable car or a new car to be worthy of time n effort to make it look its best, as long as its your pride n joy its worth the effort After I finished the shiny stuff on the outside the interior received the same sort of effort, full shampoo and clean of all interior trims,carpets n floor mats before dressing the dash and plastics and cleaning all the windows Pretty happy with the result too be honest, we should see a bit more of this car out n about too.

04.01.2022 Not every day you get to detail a Volkswagen wagon, but here we are the Golf R wagon In for the clean up it should have got at the dealership that sent it up full interior clean and a goot exterior clean to remove any road grime etc from the truck ride north, Its a really nice car, i have a feeling the new owners will enjoy this car a lot

03.01.2022 I was lucky enough to get to have a play with this gem for a lil while recently, somewhat of skill tester as well as a restore to former glory type deal, it's not every day you get to apply your skils n learn new ones with this kind of car so I am very appreciative Paint had the usual car show light scratches in it so understably it got a lot of the attention and solid Tuxedo black has to be perfect or you will see any lil imperfections no matter how small, it was topped off... with Angelwax Enigma Legacy as a thank you and to protect that shine, engine bay, moon tank,wheels ind instrument surround received the Briliant Polish touch Interior is all red cow with a lil wear and use so to bring back that rich red colour and supple texture that was Angelwax too. 03.01.2022 60s Australiana Represent This clean HR premier has been in for a lil while now gettin a bit of a birthday detail, a lot more than the usual deal too. The aim here was restoration and getting the best out of what we had to work with and 40 hours later I got it to where it is now. A lot better than even I was expecting. This car has been a gem to deal with and would gladly start it all again tomorrow Starting with an extensive clean and prep for all the stages that were to fol...low and to find out exactly what i was working with i got stuck in to it start with the 3 stage correction from hell including door jams and everything that is body coloured inside and outside of car then interior received the same extensive clean and protection. It also spent a day off of the ground with wheels off for a full underbody clean and inspection to make sure there was no unknown cancer growing out of site, brskes and suspension were also checked for safety while under there While in the process some preventative things were cleaned and protected where you dont see with rust inhibiter, a door seal was replaced along with tail light lenses After all the hard stuff was sorted it was time to make it pop. Angelwax ti22 and Enigma wax is the only option here. It will last and has proven to do a better job than a few ceramic coatings I have tested in the past. Wheels door jams and painted interior parts were coated with Bilberry wheel wax as well. Enjoy the photo's i am really happy with the results. It surpassed my expectations by a decent margin. If this is something that your classic car could do with or needs to bring it back up to where it can.be with the right amount of patience give me a call

02.01.2022 40 acres of white chev paint was the order of the day here. The 2019 Silverado 3500 is as big as it gets. Took up the space you could normally fit 3 cars, in for its 1st big detail. The 2 stage paint correction took 2 days in itself to do properly but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality to be honest really decent hardness and workability Interior got a similarly extensive work over including carpet shampoo and leather treatment on some really comfortable seats. Exterior was Angelwax all the way, along with the interior

01.01.2022 How many of you guys have put seat covers on and never worried about whats under them? I know i have in the past. We put them on to protect the seats n forget about whats underneath. Spilt drinks/food, sweat and the humidity etc all play a part in this situation we have here. Mould and built up garbage under the seat cover festering over time. It can lead to health/breathing dramas in extreme cases and often it leads to fabric and leather deteriorating over time. Leather being a natural product is more susceptible to deterioration and negative effects too. Coming up to summer this is exaggerated If you have any worries about this kind of thing or just havent had the covers off in a while, it might be time for a look.
