13.01.2022 Rural Area Driving: As a courtesy, If I'm going slower than the vehicle behind me. I'll slow down, pull off carefully to the left shoulder. And let them go by. And NO, you don't pull off doing 100 km/h. Slow down to 60 km/h or under, that reduces the dust and rock spray. Let the follower go past. Then accelerate back to your desired speed when they have gone past. That's how courtesy works on these types of road, and no one needs to do anything risky or silly. I'll mention as... well, when approaching and passing a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Start reducing speed, pull off to the left shoulder, and carefully pass the oncoming vehicle. A lot of people now days continue to do 100 km/h doing this and shower oncoming cars with rocks. There are a lot of arrogant people driving on these small rural roads these days. Maybe they are from the more populated areas and cities. And are unfamiliar with the rural roads. But they need to learn how to drive in rural areas. See more

12.01.2022 Police were conducting speed enforcement this morning along the Hume Highway near Goulburn when a red horse and cart style vehicle with several Reindeer attache...d was spotted traveling at high speeds about 50m in the air. When stopped the driver was extremely jolly, explained that he was warming up for Sunday night. As the rider of the cart was not on a road at the time he was given a warning about his speed. #HoHoHo #SlowSlowSlowDown
