20.01.2022 Dr Joanna Glover recently commenced at Developmental Paediatrics. Dr Glover sees General Paediatric and Developmental presentations including children and adolescents with concerns about ADHD, autism, and learning difficulties. Dr Glover and many of our other paediatricians are available with a minimal waiting time for urgent cases and children transitioning care.

19.01.2022 If you are considering attending an emergency department with your child for a non-urgent indication, consider going to your GP first. Waiting times at your emergency department in NSW is available here: https://www.emergencywait.health.nsw.gov.au

19.01.2022 Every day we are seeing parents struggling to be their childs teacher, because the promise of online schooling is not designed for so many children, including those with learning difficulties, special needs, or attention challenges. This is a generation where the inequalities in education will be dramatically amplified, potentially leading to lasting effects. Education authorities need to put resources into new and innovative programs to be administered individually to those in need by special education teachers, into parent training, and reassess expectations on working parents and parents with their own learning or mental health difficulties which mean they are not able to support their childs learning. School from home cannot mean that parents have to become one on one teachers!

03.01.2022 The devastating impact of the bushfires this summer make it all the more important for businesses to question their sustainability practices and impact on the environment. At Developmental Paediatrics: - We are a paperless office, with all practice files cloud based - We email out or efax reports rather than printing/posting - Where paper is brought into the practice by clients, we recycle it... - We have coffee pod recycling bins, and do not stock disposable cups - We have block out blinds to minimise air conditioning use in summer See more
