25.01.2022 When out along the trail, why not explore a little further and also take in the attractions and memorials along the Military History Trail. For more information, check out the Visitor Information Centres along the trail. GrainCorp Devenish Silo Art is included along this trail.

25.01.2022 Finding ways to hear from the community while complying with lockdown has been a challenge, so it was wonderful to visit Devenish last week. This is a town tha...t truly punches above its weight. The silo art is such an asset to the town and to our wider community and the visitors it draws in. But, what I'm hearing is the town really struggles to get any action on fixing its footpaths and drainage. Those in the main street are in a shocking state of disrepair. This is a real issue for Devenish residents, especially the older members of the community. It is also an issue because it does not present the town as well as it could to the many visitors who travel there to view the astounding silo art. I was also horrified to see the drain in Brown Street. It is more like a trench than a drain that runs for two blocks. The residents have pleaded for many years to have the drain replaced with pipes. Currently, the trench is a potential health hazard with the standing water it holds and is a danger to children. It also denies the residents a clear verge in front of their homes and has been reported to be unstable as they drive over it into their driveways. A recurring theme that I hear as I talk to people is that they feel Council doesn’t respond or follow up on their requests. The people I talked to in Devenish said this is what has been frustrating them for several years. I stand for increasing accountability, transparency in council decisions, and the development of a clearer maintenance request process to avoid these delays and frustrations.

Actually state amount and the company name Eg. Amazon $400... If you want to allow this payment press 1 To cancel payment press 2, this transfer you to a person who states they are from visa credit card When I asked how do I know who you really are and not a scam..........They HUNG up. I do not have a Visa card Please be careful. I have advised the Police and Visa.

We still have 50% of the lovely poppies you all made for us, the other 50% went to good homes . If anyone would like to help us replace the lost ones, that would be fantastic.
