24.01.2022 Cheers to #champagneday - today we’re drinking our favourite grower Blanc de Blancs, Demiere-Ansiot NV from Oger in the heart of the Cote des Blancs.... the region which inspired us to create the Beltana. Back on the home front, a couple of weeks ago the 2013 Beltana Blanc de Blancs was awarded the for Best Sparkling Wine in Show at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show (97 points)- this was a fabulous final hurrah for this vintage release whi...ch in the past two years has brought home two trophies and never scored less than 95. (We’re down to our final dozens of this vintage so ...). Also at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show the 2017 Loftia Vintage Brut was awarded a- this wine has also had a successful year scoring consistently in the 90s and being awarded the #1 Sparkling Wine under $50 by Tyson Stelzer in his Sparkling Wine Report. Thank you to all of the sponsors, judges, committee members, and volunteers for their efforts to ensure the 143rd (!!) Royal Adelaide Wine Show could even go ahead... not many capital city wine shows were able to run this year, so this alone is a stellar effort. The Sparkling trophy was a back to back win for an Adelaide Hills producer, (Wicks Estate won last year and before that it had been over 20 years since our region had won the class) which is also great for all the Sparkling producers in our region! #adlwineshow

This particular release is a bespoke cuvée only available at Nel in Sydney, however our current 2017 vintage and the 2012 Late Disgorged (which scored 96 points in a recent review by @james.suckling) are available in our tasting room and webstore.
