24.01.2022 WE HAVE MOVED. we are now at 1 West Port Road Devonport. Workshop is up and running with John working hard!! Shop is setup and ready to go.



22.01.2022 John went to arthurs lake at the weekend. Freezing cold friday night and not much better saturday. windy saturday afternoon. sat arode all day. sunday went out for about six hours with mudeyes and did not catch anything. made it back to camp before the rain hit. monday was nice but had to pack up and come home. brrrrrr

21.01.2022 John went to four springs again yesterday, 18 October 2015, fishing. Took a mate to show him how to mudeye fish, and for the first time in a long time he was out fished by someone. They were all brown trout. all about 2.5 lb - 3 lb or for those that are metric 1 - 1.5 kg.

20.01.2022 Well John went to Arthurs for the weekend. as usual not nice weather when he is there. he fished saturday and got two just size.



19.01.2022 Well trout season starts tomorrow, for those brave enough to go. not the usual rainy start to the season. so everybody have fun.

17.01.2022 Well John has opened his bag. Went to Four Springs on Saturday afternoon with a mate and they caught four fish between them, mudeye fishing. a bit windy but not too bad. two brown and two rainbow. one brown was about 3lb and the others were about 1.5lb each

17.01.2022 John and his mate went up to Arthurs for the weekend 4th November and sat and shivered in the caravan. Did not wet a line as it was too cold. Snow lay on the ground on the Saturday morning. Sunday was sunny and bright but by the time they got themselves organised the wind had come up and they decided not to go out on the lake.

16.01.2022 Well its nearly the end of the season for fishing Arthurs Lake. John went up for couple of days over easter and pulled caravan down and bought home. Hopefully will get some fishing in the closer lakes before the end of the season.



16.01.2022 Well John went to Arthurs Lake for the christmas break. Lousy weather, spent most of its time blowing and could not get out the the lake very often to fish. He did end up with 6 fish.

12.01.2022 Well John has wet his line for this trout season. John and a mate (yes he does have one) went fishing at Four springs on saturday. His mate was out fishing him for a while but then they ended up with 5 a piece. it was hot (not wet in the morning like predicted). not bad looking fish.

10.01.2022 Just a reminder. With the nice weather coming and more people out there fishing. For those that take cars and boats PLEASE CHECK WHEEL NUTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE, just incase the idiots have been out and about again.

10.01.2022 well trout season is nearly here again. trout licences are out. some people already have their renewals and are counting the days to the start of the season.

09.01.2022 Remember to keep safe from Drop Bears, put a bit of Vegemite (or OzEmite) behind the ears. Also putting forks in your hat keeps them well away.

06.01.2022 Well John took the weekend off and went up to Arthurs Lake. It was cold and very windy. Him and his mate walked the shore fishing with mudeyes and worms. too cold for mudeyes had no luck. John did not catch a fish, shock horror, this has not happened for a while. His mate that went with him caught two, must have just had a better flick on his rod.

05.01.2022 John went to Arthurs Lake for Devonport show weekend (not that we had one but still took the holiday) weather was not great but he did get out on the water and got the boat wet and shock actually caught two fish.

03.01.2022 Well christmas is over and John had his annual trip to Arthurs Lake. Looks like the lake is starting to slowly come back to life as John caught 16 fish for his summer break. Threw just size and under sized back, just kept couple for a feed. weather was quite warm. fish mostly caught on mudeyes.
