21.01.2022 A lesson that we need to learn frequently!

16.01.2022 Sunday 10:00 Andrew is teaching from 1Corinthians1:18-2:5 The Gospel-Christ crucified....that's it! This news is too good to miss!

15.01.2022 Amazing Grace.

15.01.2022 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret ...will reward you openly. --Matthew 6:6 Among the enemies to devotion none is so harmful as distractions. Whatever excites the curiosity, scatters the thoughts, disquiets the heart, absorbs the interests or shifts our life focus from the kingdom of God within us to the world around us--that is a distraction; and the world is full of them. Our science-based civilization has given us many benefits but it has multiplied our distractions and so taken away far more than it has given.... The remedy for distractions is the same now as it was in earlier and simpler times, viz., prayer, meditation and the cultivation of the inner life. The psalmist said "Be still, and know," and Christ told us to enter into our closet, shut the door and pray unto the Father. It still works.... Distractions must be conquered or they will conquer us. So let us cultivate simplicity; let us want fewer things; let us walk in the Spirit; let us fill our minds with the Word of God and our hearts with praise. In that way we can live in peace even in such a distraught world as this. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you." The Set of the Sail, 129-132.

12.01.2022 Absolutely and the church must nurture them.

11.01.2022 For Jesus, prayer wasn’t a random activity. It was the way he lived Jesus wanted others to live this way. He meant for us to enter the reign of God here and... now. When we look at prayer the way Jesus did, we are looking at something large and freeing. Our whole lives can become prayer. ~Emilie Griffin, Doors Into Prayer: An Invitation

09.01.2022 What A Friend We Have In Jesus Joseph M Scriven What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!... What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer! Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer! Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer! Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge-- take it to the Lord in prayer! Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In His arms He'll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.

08.01.2022 If you were a hundred times worse than you are, your sins would STILL be no match for His mercy.

05.01.2022 G’day, I’m Noah, just finished my last VCE exam this week and am super keen to see how the Lord can use me doing the PIM Gap Year in 2021. I am excited to be ab...le to see firsthand how PIM serves people and to be a part of that. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to be a part of the Gap Year program. I think I’m most excited to learn about life on a property and gain those skills that are so important from fencing to managing livestock and at the same time participating in the Timothy Partnership and growing skills in evangelism and discipleship. Please continue to pray for New Dunesk, that God will be able to use the property to continue to bring the gospel to Australians. #newdunesk See more
