23.01.2022 You may have noticed this past week that our ferry is out of the water. Covid-19, unfortunately, cut our sailing time short this year before its important maintenance period was scheduled to begin. Rest assured, we will be back sailing on September 1 with a safe vessel to get you all across swiftly! We thank you for your understanding and can't wait to see all your friendly faces this spring!

21.01.2022 Here's something to brighten up your mid-week blues. $1 ferry fares! During these upcoming school holidays, we are offering a single fare trip for just $1 on Wednesdays only. Bikes and dogs that are on leads are welcome aboard. Catching the Ferry across to East Devonport is perfect for families to enjoy a walk or ride to Pioneer Park (and to exert some of that endless energy kids seem to always have!) 18.01.2022 We would like to announce that unfortunately, tomorrow March 31, will be the ferry's last day of operation for the foreseeable future. We believe this is the right thing to do to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our passengers. Please be safe and take care of yourself. We hope to be sailing again in no time.

13.01.2022 Where has the time gone? September 1 is almost here, just under one week until the Ferry is back operating! We have some great news too, our $5 same-day return fare will be continuing when we are back up and running. Looking forward to seeing some new and familiar faces onboard.

11.01.2022 $5 same-day return trips! Who doesn't love a saving? If you're planning a trip across the river and back on the same day, we're now offering $5 fares for adults . All you need to do is let the driver know you're after a return fare and you'll receive a ticket to show on your way back, it's as easy as that! Happy sailing!

09.01.2022 Last week we had the pleasure of taking some attendees of the recent WIMDOI conference on a charter up the river. A big thanks to the group for taking the time out to include us in their day and snapping some pretty cool pictures while onboard and to our driver, Deryn, for always making sure every trip is an outstanding experience for all our passengers. 07.01.2022 Public Holiday Information for Friday, 29 Nov. Due to the Devonport Show public holiday for Devonport residents, there will be no bus or ferry services operating for the day (Devonport and surrounds). All services will resume for Saturday's regular timetables.

05.01.2022 Slight change in operating hours this Saturday. We will open for sailings between 9am - 12pm. The river will then be closed from 12pm - 4pm due to Devonport Regatta practice. For alternate transport - visit the timetable below for East Devonport schedule.

04.01.2022 The wait is over the Ferry will be returning tomorrow! We wish to thank everyone for their patience, understanding and continued support throughout the unforeseen extended break this year. We are excited to see many familiar faces this week and hope to see some new passengers along the way. A big thank you to our dedicated employees who worked tirelessly to ensure the maintenance of the Ferry was at its highest standard ready for return.... The Ferry will operate on the same business hours and fare costs as before its break. Monday to Friday: 7 am - 5:30 pm Saturdays: 9 am - 5 pm Adult: $3 Family: $10 Student: $2 $5 same-day return trips will continue.
