25.01.2022 We were a little over-optimistic when estimating the number attending a Centenary Assembly. The Committee has therefore changed the program so that there will be only one assembly at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday 15 October. A light lunch will be served after the assembly and unveiling of the commemorative plaque. This will allow people to catch up and socialise before taking a tour of the School and the displays of memorabilia.

24.01.2022 Does anyone have memories or stories about Dr. Leon Halpersohn? He joined the staff about 1945 and remained a well known language teacher for many years. Let us know your memories.

24.01.2022 As we have reached capacity, we advise that we are unable to take further registrations for our Centenary Celebration Welcome Drinks on 14th October and Assembly on 15th October. There are still places left for 2.00pm and 3.00pm school tours on Saturday 15th October. To register for these please contact the Devonport High School Office or visit the registration desk on the Eastern entry to the Assembly Hall at these times.

19.01.2022 Food Parcels For Britain If you were at DHS in the post-war years (1946-49) do you remember sending food parcels to Britain? We would like to know how the food was obtained - eg. by direct donations of food items or by fundraising -how it was packaged and sent etc. Also would like to hear from anyone who received a thank you letter from a recipient of a parcel. Any information would be appreciated.
