24.01.2022 Another busy weekend just gone, busy and beautiful I had the pleasure of marrying 2 lovely couples, the first being Meaghan Philp and Wayne at Shropshire Park Ulv. This couples wedding was arranged with me mainly from the mainland and it was a wonderfully beautiful day. A perfect place for anyone with Naval interests. 24.01.2022 Thursday I officiated at my friends mums funeral, what a great privilege! The beauty of Claude Rd Cemetry Sheffield nestled at the foot of Mt Rowland, the gorgeous sunshine and lots of family and friends turned this sad day into a more bearable day. 23.01.2022 Just about home from an amazing South Pacific Cruise with an awesome group of friends. There was a wedding , engagement lots of anniversaries , (Shane and mines 40th included, this was our gift to ourselves) and birthdays everyday, Kerris 60th as well Had so much fun on dress up nights. Looking forward to getting home, work and a very special wedding on Saturday

22.01.2022 Having a wonderful holiday in Nowra NSW with family. It was great being able to bring my mum over to spend time with my sister Paula and check out daughter Kim and her hubby Adams home and land and seeing grandkids. Staying with Kims in-laws Kerri and John. Not sure if I want to go home!! well not just yet! Have alot of couples to catch up when I get home!

20.01.2022 Hi all past and present couples and friends. Thanks to those who have kept in touch while I am overseas, lots of enquirers and some bookings I still have 2 weeks to go then will be back into the swing of things. 2 weeks in Cambodia saw us very busy and on the go constantly helping with lots of different projects and groups of children. Hot and long days but still managed to have fun. Now Im on holidays in Hanoi Vietnam and next week to Phuket. Hope you enjoy some of my pictures Stay happy Louise

17.01.2022 Well Im now home after a break of over 4 weeks overseas and raring to get stuck back into preparing for upcoming weddings, meeting new couples and I have a few naming days coming up this year as well. 13.01.2022 Well it was quiet and all of a sudden whamo! Lots of enquiries and bookings in the last few weeks. Ive been busy catching up with some gorgeous new couples and sending out information packs left right and centre with some important info and ideas for them to help make their day special. Being a Celebrant of any kind is one of the most rewarding and exciting things that I can think of, to help you create one of the most special days of your life with memories that you can ch...erish forever. Some are serious, others have alot of fun, some couples get nervous and laugh or cry all the way through their service...it doesnt matter, its your day and you can do whatever you want, as long as the legal components are completed Sometimes we have major changes at the last minute...Do we stress about it?...No, what good does that do, we go with the flow, after all you will be married no matter what and often where! We cant control the weather thats why we must have a back up plan. Might take a few phone calls to let people know or start a few minutes late but do we stress... NO of course not I could tell you some funny stories.. all true but everyone has a happy and wonderful ending! Just like your wedding will have! NO 2 weddings are alike, you own your day! Have fun, enjoy, laugh and love alot! Start your married life as you intend to finish it, full of joy and love for each other...thats the main thing still a few dates for this year, 2019 and 20 the popular dates filling fast. 12.01.2022 Hi, Ive been home for a week and flat out with night shift, wedding bookings, paperwork and funerals. Thank you for keeping in contact while I was in Cambodia. We had an awesome time and achieved so much. One great project was with our nurses Kath, Sarina & Sokchan who taught first aid classes to older students and a lot of parents in 6 schools. They all received first aid kits thanks to Cymone de Schipper and Evert who sourced supplies from Red Cross Dev. Red Cross Nowra ...supplied Kerri McArthur mannequins for CPR classes. There was so much interest and this skill gladly received. Even the staff at our hotel wanted to learn CPR. We gave out school supplies to 7 schools, water filters and hygiene packs to a lot of poor people in a village who had never had Westerners visit before! 11.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon I officiated a Commitment For Life celebration For 2 very special people. I have to admit I usually shed a tear at most weddings but this couples ceremony, the love spoken and shared and the romantic suprises were a bit much for not just me but nearly everyone had the tissues out! And the live bands gig including Chris was absolutely awesome! I didnt want to go home! I felt like I was 15 again, front row at an ACDC concert This is the best job ever !!Congratulaions Chris and Kristine, Im so happy for you both

On the 19th Dec I had the great honour of marrying good friends of mine in a beautiful garden setting at Ulverstone, then went on to join them, and other friends at their reception which was delightful Congratulations Mr and Mrs Rodney Cope. I finished off my wedding season on the 22nd Dec at one of the most beautiful locations on the coast, Boat Harbour Beach. Pure white sand and the sea was sparkling like diamonds as Mr and Mrs Matt Corbett became husband and wife. Perfect day for a lovely couple. Congratulations and best wishes to you all

08.01.2022 Please couples planning to get married and have booked their forever together date with me, dont forget the Notice If Intention To Marry (NOIM) has to be completed one month before you wedding or it will not happen. The best we can do is a commitment ceremony for the day then do legals later. Im not saying this to worry you but it has just happened The hardest thing about my job is seeing disappointed couples Its so easy when out lives are full on busy to overlook emails, messages, reminders ect, we are all only human after all.

03.01.2022 Well Ive been very busy with couples and paperwork, not so much weddings. This time of year is often quite slow so I blacked out a few months to chill, catch up on paperwork and I also will be heading off to Cambodia and Vietnam for nearly a month, leaving next week I will still be available to answer questions and take bookings if needed, please be patient, I will reply ASAP to you! Its going to be a very busy time away, full on in Cambodia where we will be concentrating on First Aid in schools, Water Filters, school supplies and basic necessities for elderly
