25.01.2022 A huge thanks from us at the House for recognising the community work done here by all our wonderful volunteers and staff alongside Manager Kate Beer receiving the Mersey Lions Club Community Service Award recently! It was a fun night with a fun club who provide wonderful help within our community. Thank you!

23.01.2022 We had a fabulous Sunday evening for Music in the Garden, huge thanks to Dom and Andrew playing some great tunes even a Wiggles song!; Shirley and Aidan on Covid duty; Elizabeth and Melissa cooking up a storm; Mike, Geoff, Jason on setup/pack down; Grace and Lyn J on the trade table. All up we raised nearly $400 towards Relay for Life!! Thanks to everyone for coming along and enjoying the evening with us!

22.01.2022 We're still offering gorgeous fresh fruit and veg from the Community Garden at the FoodShed daily, and tomorrow (Tuesday) we will have free pumpkin soup from 2 - 3pm! So come along and pick up your bread & produce plus a cup-of-soup on us! Remember to keep 1.5m away from others to keep everyone safe.

14.01.2022 Great news! We can continue offering aqua aerobics at Splash until Christmas - just let us know that you're not too busy before Christmas and we'll book it in with Splash. Sessions are for over 65's at 10 - 11am Wednesdays and Fridays and it's FREE!! Give us a call or comment below to book your spot for the next month.

11.01.2022 We are sad to share with our community the passing of our most fabulous local volunteer, Helen Ebanks. Many will know her through making scones at the House every week for years, sometimes with surprise flavours! She loved to totally spoil our Community Gardeners and the men in the Men's Shed. Vale Helen E, we will all miss you.

09.01.2022 It's on TODAY from 4pm... the weather is great, the oven is fired up and Dom is warming his vocals - join us for MUSIC in the GARDEN this afternoon (SUNDAY 7th) from 4pm. BYO chair and drinks - enjoy woodfired oven potatoes and sausage sizzle. Trade table, fruit & veg and plants for sale. All funds raised go to Cancer Council's Relay for Life.
