24.01.2022 Grand Final Ticket Update What a morning to wake up and realise we still have two teams from the Giant Devonport Football Club competing in the NWFL Grand Final of 2020. Congratulations to our Goodstone U18's who will compete on Friday night at Dial Park, 6.30pm start and the PFD Seniors on Saturday at Latrobe at 2.30pm.... U18s Those who ordered tickets are encouraged to collect from the DFC Function Centre on Tuesday night from 5 pm. We still have a limited number of tickets available please email as per instructions from the previous post- spread the word. Seniors We have been oversubscribed and are sorting this as quickly and fairly as we can. Our intention is to confirm and allow collection on Thursday night. Please keep an eye on this page for the latest. Be patient with us as we work though this- thanks. 18.01.2022 Football moves on quickly with our successful Annual Dinners for the 2020 season now behind us. Giant Devonport Football Club are pleased to announce our Junior coaches for 2021 over the next week or so. The first team we will announce will be our Junior Girls. Co-Coaches for 2021 are-... Kelsey Aherne and Sam Langmaid. Both excellent, experienced senior Premiership players they will help our juniors have fun, learn the game and prepare for senior football. Kelsey and Sammy will be announcing pre-season training dates in the future, so keep an eye out. Please message us if you need any information or have questions. 16.01.2022 Giant Devonport Football Club Members and Supporters News The NWFL Board met Tuesday and the decision was made to have ticketed Grand Finals only. This means grounds are limited to 1,000 under State Government Covid Rules. That includes everyone players, officials, volunteers and general public. To enable this to happen efficiently clubs participating in the Grand Final will have access to approx. 350 tickets.... Clubs that are not competing will have access to a small number of tickets. The cost of entry is $10 for Senior GF and $5 for Reserves and U18’s. Everyone who enters the ground must have a ticket. Eg Dad, Mum and 15 yr old and 7yr would cost $40 for the Senior GF and $20 for the Reserves or U18’s. Car entry is $5 cash on the day. Tickets will be available through your club. Burnie Seniors, Penguin Reserves and Devonport Football Club U18’s are already confirmed, so they will be able to pre sell tickets. Those clubs yet to book a place will be able to sell from Saturday night once we know who they are. Tickets not sold need to be returned to the NWFL on Tuesday so they can be redistributed to those clubs wanting more. People wanting a ticket to one or all of the matches should contact their club. In our case email [email protected] To try and get tickets we need your name, what game, how many tickets and a contact number. Eg Les Smith, U18s, 2 tickets, 0456 111 222 Nothing is confirmed until you are offered a ticket and you have paid. The U18 tickets for Devonport Football Club will go on sale as of now as we are confirmed Grand Finalists. Other Grand Finals tickets will be advised in due course. Thanks and #gopies
