23.01.2022 Hello guys, Hope everyone has had a well earned rest. I'll say this 1000 times but thank you all for your support at the event, it ran very well. This event was a lot more emotional for me being at home surrounded by friends and family, but it was something I knew I had to do after my event in Launceston last year. At the moment the total money raised is $8960.20! Which I announced yesterday after the event finished. I will have a final total within the next couple of weeks so look out for that.

This will also allow for final amount announcement soon :) Here also is the evaluation form for the event please take the time to fill out as it will influence any further events. Thank you https://forms.gle/YdjjYzMnkiHbybbq7

17.01.2022 Hello everyone For anyone who is interested there will be a piece about the event in the advocate tomorrow. I will try and get a copy to post on the page, keep you posted.

16.01.2022 Kerry's phone was located last Saturday after 15 months in the bottom of Parsons Falls. The height of the waterfall was also confirmed as 40m not the 30m we originally told people. Her phones sd card still worked holding many memories in photographs, thank you to the divers who retrieved the damaged phone.

16.01.2022 If this week has not had enough announcements here is another one. I am proud to announce that I am a semi-finalist for the Tasmanian Young Achiever Award for Community Service and Volunteering. Thank you Casey Mainsbridge for the nomination.

13.01.2022 These photos were meant to be shared through a media release back in March. However, due to COVID-19 it was not considered. So today being 1 year since the accident that sparked the idea for the two events, the first being held in Launceston in October 2019, and the second being held in Devonport in February 2020, I thought I would share the photos taken when my family, my partner and I visited the Westpac Base and presented them with the total money raised across the two events. These photos will be admired by my family after what the amazing crew from Westpac Helicopter Rescue did on this day 12 months ago. We are forever greatful x We love you flying hero's

12.01.2022 Got my copy of the paper today :)

10.01.2022 Of our $10,000 raised that only covers 4 people to do this training. Valuable training that saves lives like Kerry's.

08.01.2022 Only 2 days left before we do a final count. Final total will be announced at the end of next week. If you still have donations please pass them on over the weekend. Enjoy a very relaxing weekend, and enjoy some sleep.

06.01.2022 Today Kerry Geard and I deposited the money from the event. Here is a photo of Miss Ivy with our grand total of $10,000.00 ! I would like to thank all the business who supported the event and everyone who was involved in this event on behalf of Tasmania's Westpac Helicopter Service and my family. A massive thank you also from me personally, this event means the world to me, I cannot believe that it all began as a University Assignment. I feel like I will never be able to thank everyone enough for all the support received. The last event in Launceston raised $2,612.15 we have topped that by $7,387.85 in Devonport ! (Just over 3x the amount raised in Launceston). Thank you everyone for your support, effort and generosity.
