13.01.2022 The end of last week and over the weekend, Bailey and I wired some new lighting for Civilmart Toowoomba. We installed a series of Pierlite 200W flood lights in their main production pour floor. It might not look it compared to the 800sq.m shed, but Each light measures 475x345mm. We installed time delay off switches along with control contactors to control the lighting loads. These were set to turn off after 2 hours to minimise power usage. They were manufactured locally in Narangba and are due to be sent down south for the construction of a new underground tunnel. Dewar's Electrical were contracted to complete the wiring of these 3-phase 15KW motors, controlled by their own Variable Frequency Drives. ... As well as being the day where playing tricks on your family and friends is acceptable, April fools day also serves as an important reminder to change your smoke alarm batteries. You must change the batteries even if your smoke alarms are hard wired, as they will still have a back up battery. While you're changing the batteries, also make sure you check the date on your smoke alarms because they only have a 10 year life span and must be replaced. ...
