24.01.2022 We are so proud of our Brunswick West team for having their Reconciliation Action Plan (R.A.P.) approved and published on the Narragunnawali Website, and we are especially honoured that this took place during NAIDOC Week. "During the process I have learnt so much myself and what better way to share this knowledge than with the Dewdrops children, families and communities. I look forward to supporting our team and the wider community through our Reconciliation Action Plan." ~...Danica, Kinder Teacher "We look forward to sharing with all of our families the great learning opportunities for the children as we work toward embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and perspectives in our educational program." ~Dora Moses, Managing Director
19.01.2022 Our Brunswick West kinder children have the opportunity to be part of the Dewdrops Bush Kinder Program, which allows them to explore the local natural environment, investigating, climbing, learning about local flora and fauna, creating outdoor play spaces, and learning to love and respect the land. Bush Kinder explores the lovely spaces in the parkland just outside of our Brunswick West service in Brady Reserve, and along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, which are a hop, skip and a jump away from our door! It's not too late to enrol your child for 3 or 4 year old kinder for 2020-2021. Call 9381 1850 or email [email protected] and request a brochure today.

14.01.2022 Happy days in Melbourne this week! The sun is shining and lockdown is easing! At Dewdrops it’s business as usual...playing, learning, creating, digging, and all round just having some fun. Have a wonderful week everyone!
13.01.2022 Space Week was a BLAST! Our Reservoir kinder students spent the week exploring moon cycles, playing in the spaceship home corner, launching bottle rockets into space, learning about NASA space craft, and reading space themed stories...the week was certainly full of adventure and wonderful learning opportunities!
12.01.2022 It's been such a happy time welcoming so many children back to Dewdrops, and back to their friends and familiar learning environments. Our Teachers and Educators have done an amazing job of making sure returning children feel happy and settled, and keeping families updated through the Storypark app. Well done to our entire Dewdrops family for navigating these ever-changing times with such resilience!
10.01.2022 Any day is a day to play Anywhere in any way Endless adventures to be had Anyone can be a comrade A stick a stone... A tin can phone Grass or sand Arms or hand Loud or quiet Calm or riot Inside outside Seek or hide High or low Script or flow Wet or dry Laugh or cry Let your imagination run wild Time to be a limitless child Children young and old A reminder to unfold We all need time to play Every. Single. Day This lovely "never ending poem" found at amymarley.medium.com/childs-play-9e71767f1f36
05.01.2022 Role play is really important for children. It allows them to explore their place in the world, builds social skills, empathy and understanding, expands vocabulary, sparks creativity and imagination, and so much more. Even the quietest of children can be found chatting away when they're immersed in role playing!
