07.01.2022 Hi All, The SA government have just announced a return of restrictions starting on 17th November (tomorrow). This means that for the next two weeks all of our workshop programs are closed. This included our 2020 Showcase and our Kid's Gym programs.... This weekend we are set to run a garage sale as a part of the Garage Sale Trail, which will still go ahead under additional supervision and strict adherence to Covid Safe policies. We will not, however, be serving food, or having any gym workshops available on the day of the event. Restrictions are currently set to be lifted by December 2nd. We will resume our regular workshops then. If restrictions are lifted in time, our 2020 Showcase event will be postponed by one week to the 4th of December. We are focused on ensuring the health and safety of our community, Apologies for the inconvenience

01.01.2022 BIG UPDATE Hi Everyone, Based on current restrictions we can reopen workshops this week (Drama, Film, Circus and Open Studio) however our Kids Gym program cannot reopen yet. ... These workshops will be running with an extra-strong focus on physically distanced activities, meaning that some activities will be modified to fit compliance. Some families connected to D'Faces have vulnerable and immuno-compromised people, for this reason we are taking all possible precautions. Based on health recommendations we ask that children do not wear masks. We would, however, appreciate it if adults wear them, especially if they are staying during the workshop to supervise their children, or dealing with staff. We have to maintain a maximum class size of 20, avoid all contact games/activities and manage 1 person per 4sq/m. Please remember hand hygiene and be sure to keep 1.5m away from other people. Please pay attention to staff directions as we manage activities. Our Dance/Circus Showcase is still tentatively planned for Dec 4th however the exact details are still dependant on how restrictions change. As a precaution, we will develop a video showcase as an alternative outcome that will be shared with families. We ask that all Dance participants bring along their costumes this week as we will be filming their dances. Stay posted for more updates on our 'Christmas Breakup' events over the next week or so. GOOD NEWS! You can still register for our big end-of-year event! Just go to our website and register using the simple online form! It should be a great way to end the year and an exciting chance for all our young people to come together and collaborate on a project.
