14.01.2022 The team from DFK Gray Perry will continue working, but we're staying at home from Thursday, 19th November until at least Friday, 27th November. We worked from home earlier in the year without issues, we're still here to support you in any way we can.. In addition to the obvious change (there’ll be no-one in the office, so please don’t come here), we will not have access to the mail until after lockdown. If you need to send us information, please do so electronically where p...ossible. You shouldn’t notice a difference in our level of service. We’ll be securely connected to our DFK Gray Perry server and phone system from home, so you should have no trouble with emails or calls to the main phone number (08) 8212 2366. We’ll continue to communicate via email and we can also arrange a meeting via computer, iPad or your mobile phone. If you’re not computer savvy, don’t worry, we can talk you through it. 12.01.2022 International Accountants Day, celebrated on 10 November each year, is an opportunity to acknowledge the great work accountants do to make businesses thrive, support the economy, and help people navigate the complexities of finance and tax law. The date commemorates the day in 1494 that Venetian mathematician Luca Bartolomeo de Pacioli published his critical work "Summa de arithmetica, geometria, proportioni et proportionalita", which translates to "everything about arithmetic, geometry and proportion", and included analysis and documentation of bookkeeping practices. This publication was the foundation for further advancement of accounting and positioned de Pacioli as "The Father of Accounting."

10.01.2022 The Jobkeeper Extension No. 2 period will run from Monday 4th January 2021 to Sunday 28th March 2021. In order to determine if you are eligible for Jobkeeper Extension No. 2, you must be able to demonstrate that your actual GST turnover has declined by the required percentage* in the December 2020 quarter, relative to the same period in 2019.
