24.01.2022 Grant your staff that are affected by the fires both directly and indirectly paid compassionate leave, hear their stories, focus on heart over profit during this crisis. People have lost everything and it will take time to rebuild and heal. Show your people they matter, that you care. If you are a SMB aren't in a cash position to do this, find other ways to help, be flexible with work hours and leave, donate clothes and food, be human. ... Share your stories on how your business or your employers are being human through this crisis, I would love to hear about it #indigenousbusiness #murraalumni #dhiira #entrepreneur #indigipreneur #smallbusiness #entrepreneurship #blog #stories #smb #paid #success #behuman #workhours #focus #heart #motivation #people #AustralianBushFires

23.01.2022 Today is National Sorry Day, a day that we remember the pain, grief, suffering and injustice of the Stolen Generations. But for our people this isn’t the only day, it is everyday that we live in the inter-generational trauma caused by the racist policies of the past that attempted, and in some cases succeeded, in decimating Culture and Identity. My late Grandmother, Rosemary Wood née Wassa a strong staunch Ngarrindjeri and Adnyamathanha woman was a victim of the Stolen Genera...tions and today especially I have a heavy heart for her and for all our People that are the Stolen Generations. Sorry means you don’t do it again, we still fight to correct injustices effecting our People, we do this in many ways and ‘being’ is one of those, so to all my People I say stand strong in your identity, fight hard to know who you are and remember that your ancestors walk with you everyday. #NationalSorryDay #Sorryday #NRW

13.01.2022 In light of recent developments on COVID-19 prevention strategies released by the Department of Health, we are going to be practicing an isolation period of 2-3 weeks pending further developments. This means we will not be having face to face engagements throughout this period, however we will be utilising technology to deliver our work, the show must go on. The beauty of this is, a lot of our work is desktop, evaluation + review, strategy development and writing, content w...riting etc. Small business must pivot drastically now more than ever, the tidal wave of economic uncertainty is building and for small business this can be catastrophic, we are going to remain focussed and change our approach through this time. If you would like to collaborate during this period of social-distancing and work from home please let me know, always great to have a chat and see how we can collaborate. I hope you all stay safe and well during this time. Regards, Leroy Founder and Managing Director Dhiira Pty Ltd
