20.01.2022 20 years ago today Cathy Freeman carried the torch to light the Olympic cauldron.. 10 nights later Freeman won the gold medal in the 400 metres. . As a young boy I can remember watching this with my family, all us kids, mum, dad and my nan sitting down cheering her on. When she ran over that line we all just screamed and cried. . What she did and how she did it meant so much more then just wining a race... . Our new brand was created for the launch of our Digital Program which will be available for Primary Schools in Term 4 across the Central Coast and Hunter areas! The digital program is a video resource that is simply played to students on the classroom smart board. The content of each workshop focuses on Aboriginal culture, leadership and wellbeing with the aim to empowe...r both Aboriginal and non Aboriginal students to be confident, resilient and motivated to reach their aspirations. Each workshop contains interactive activities which provides the perfect opportunity for experiential learning for all students to engage in. All workshops are designed to be self sufficient and require minimal preparation from teachers/facilitators. The program includes worksheets and teachers guides for every workshop.
