24.01.2022 Flashback to pre-GFC part #2: Brand identity system for Hokkaido Tracks (property resort development and management), Japan. The project consolidated various parts of the business group and brought its market position to a premium level.

21.01.2022 Flashback 2012: A branding project for NSW government agency WIRO has since experienced a slight name change but has been able to retain the original design basis. Dialogue completed a host of projects within the entire launch and establishment scheme and now is working with them again on some new e-communications roll-out. Nice to be working with the team again!
21.01.2022 Examples of print and merchandise rollout from the Swaab re-branding project. These illustrate the dynamic nature of core elements within a branding program as they are reproduced through a variety of scale, colour, material and processes all with a consistency and faithfulness to graphic standards.

19.01.2022 In 2019 we completed a video project undertaken over a timeframe that commenced with location shooting in Tasmania the year prior. Various types of footage were added over the months before final editing and combining with supers, music and ends. The video is used by distributors overseas along with retail outlets generally as well as via the clients website. Thanks to Jasper for the assistance in shooting and with final production. Well done!
19.01.2022 Fast and furious photo shoot on Tuesday for Wilderness Wear creating a library of images for use in social media this year. About 50 keepers from a half day session and several hundred frames shot. (Glad nobody was paying for film!)
19.01.2022 The company is pleased to have been commissioned by Sydney legal firm Swaab to upgrade their brand visual identity. Completed over the course of a 12-month timeline, the project focused on strategic, creative and technical requirements to bring the firm into a new market positioning which reflects recent growth and new focus. The branding system has been applied to a new website, signage, publications, promotional items, stationery, presentation resources, forms, advertising, social media and comprehensive guidelines documentation. Thanks to the firms Business Development and Marketing Manager, John Hovelmann, and Marketing and Communications Executive, Kimberley Chapple, for a project administered with keen insight and consistent attentiveness.
19.01.2022 Flashback to pre-GFC part #1: One of several brand and marketing campaigns for Japanese/Australian property developer, Hokkaido Tracks. These remain benchmark building projects in Niseko and surrounds. After 2008/9 the company joined with marketing manager James Gallagher to form Gallagher Frostell and worked for a further 5+ years with other Japanese building companies both locally and in Australia.
17.01.2022 Fascinating few days in Tokyo with WW distributor Saws Company Ltd. for 20th anniversary celebrations and workshop with product/brand managers. Q: How many outdoor clothing stores can be checked out in just a few days? (The answer is measured with a combination of innumerable train tickets and pedestrian kms sending Apple Watch mad!) Arigato, Nick-san and Jon-san!
16.01.2022 Cool Merino Tencel is a new hybrid product from Wilderness Wear made from an ecologically friendly wood pulp and wool. Research established that the pulp component actually comes from plantation eucalyptus trees so we played that card as part of the clients Australian story hence the abstracted rounded green forms (eucalyptus cinerea) in the central design.
16.01.2022 A little bit of Ken every now and again is a very good thing. (And explains a lot, in many cases.) https://www.ted.com//ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creati
15.01.2022 Light moves in, bounces and overlaps ...
13.01.2022 The company enjoyed a 20+ year relationship with social justice trailblazers, Wintringham. During this time many projects types were undertaken across diverse media, including a series of category-defining annual reports they were a favourite among Canberras politicians. In the later years of product these featured the remarkable photography of Melbourne-based Tania Jovanovic.

08.01.2022 Flashback to pre-GFC part #3: Marcomms projects for Hokkaido Tracks.
07.01.2022 Cartoonists and animators at Explanimate (Brisbane) produced a wide range of still and motion work for WIRO with the company in and around 2013. Their ability to make simple sense out of difficult and complex concepts was always a pleasure to witness commonly applied to videos and infographics. This example was put to action in a poster as part of a workplace awareness campaign.

06.01.2022 Accompanying the brand visual identity created this year for Swaab is a new website. Built with a new content management system (CMS) and back-end programming, the site presents the previous data in a significantly more dynamic, meaningful and compelling manner across all viewing platforms. Technology and programming for the project was provided in partnership with Simon Mundy, PeptoLab. https://www.swaab.com.au/team
05.01.2022 Christmas decorations are down. The NY thing has been done. Australia Day approaches. 2017 is getting into swing.
04.01.2022 Very pleased to have been engaged by the team at Swaab (lawyers) to redevelop the firms branding and revise their website. There are many different, interesting and difficult aspects to these projects a perfect exercise in integrating strategic, creative and technical inputs. Work started the week before last with two days of stakeholder workshops and interviews for IT, branding and communications capped off with delayed return flights to Melbourne due to bad weather ea...ch time (one all, so far). Thanks to Simon Mundy from PeptoLab for being part of the project. Watch this space for updates.

03.01.2022 Branding update: Previous design, for a pharmaceutical consultant, used similar imagery, but from old fashioned clip art. This solution uses, well, better clip art :) and a more engaging layout of the elements to form the RXview logotype.
02.01.2022 When your 21 y/o son asks you to watch a movie about a famous typeface with him.
