21.01.2022 A question I often get asked is"How much is a diamond?" Actually they can be any price! But when you are buying one remember the following steps. 1. Set your budget. We all have one even if we pretend we don't. 2. Choose the shape of the stone you love! 3. Choose the quality of the stone . This is where you have to make a quality decision . Yes, your budget will determine whether you get a high quality diamond or a larger stone of lesser quality... For example a Half carat diamond Very High Colour "D" VS clarity will be $5000 or a three quarter carat "G" colour, SI clarity stone will also be $5000. Which one do you prefer? Men will usually buy quality! Yes! girls we know you want the larger size! But think about it a little bit more. Remember quality wins in the end. 19.01.2022 I had a really good question today from a customer. "What is the best in a diamond? Someone had confused her talking about a one carat diamond and then talking about 18ct. which she thought referred to the diamond size. I realized that most people do not understand that diamonds are measured in carats (that is a weight) and gold is also talked about in karats (which is the purity of the gold). So it can be confusing if it is not explained correctly. So our picture is a one carat diamond on an 18ct. White Gold band. Hope this explains it! Patti
