We choose to work with 100% natural soy wax as it’s derived from soybeans, which are a natural renewable product grown in many regions by our farmers. Soy candles burn at a lower temperature than other waxes making it a longer lasting candle, as it burns slower. Soy candles are non toxic and do not emit any nasties into the air. . . Paraffin Wax has been proven to be toxic and made from chemicals. Paraffin is derived from petroleum, coal or shale oil (used in the production of making fuel). This is a hazard and while burning a paraffin candle you may notice black soot on either your walls or fans. This is important for you to know if you are pregnant, have kids, or pets or just because it’s the safest option health- wise. . . Make sure to always check what your candles are made from, and stay away from paraffin wax candles! See more
