Your fur baby begins to realise its apart of their routine & (not a punishment) We can build a relationship between owner/ fur baby ... We begin to know your fur babies body/ skin very well & any changes that pop up (warts, lumps) we usually notice them and can let you know for health reasons Your fur babies will look & feel good (most of the time) dirt & water to Blame Tips for nervous fur babies/ if they dont enjoy visits After their grooming appointment give them a big treat to reward them once your back home Go for a walk once your home (they begin to realise that after their appointment they go for walkies) Some fur babes just dont enjoy the whole grooming experience which is totally okay ! This is so my current regulars can book their 4-8 weekly appointments plus I just have no more space in the day for new clients at this stage . ... 04.01.2022 This is a little guide to help with knowing how many weeks to book between your fur babies grooming appointments The classic haircut is our short, summer maintainable style haircut - this haircut can last the longest between grooms as we trim at a short length. The signature haircut is our longer, winter teddy bear haircut and usually recommended to re book for 4-8 weeks to make sure the coat can be kept at a longer length before any knots can form (high maintenance a...t home) Groom outs are for our double coated fur babies (border collies , golden retrievers, Japanese spitz) - every coat is different but we recommend returning atleast every 12 weeks to help release any old trapped coat, not doing so can cause skin issues where the skin can not breath under the double coat & in serious cases the coat may have to be clipped short Breed haircuts are for our extra special clients who love the traditional look - this usually means longer legs, a skirt & beards which I recommend booking no longer then 6 weeks between grooms (very high maintenance at home) The tidy up is great for in between haircuts to keep the hair away from their eyes ** this is a guide only , if you have any questions please send me a message & we can set up a grooming schedule for your fur baby ** See more
