Many of you are aware that Diamond Energy is a close-knit team based in Melbourne, Australia. Over the past three years, that team has included James ‘Solar’ Travers, who has sadly passed away after a long illness. Our office will be fairly empty during the above times as the majority of our staff will be attending his funeral. Solar was a vibrant and energetic person, who was driven by a passion for the environment and the natural world, and by a genuine care for the human beings around him he was a perfect fit and esteemed member of our Pure Power team. He was single-handedly responsible for introducing ‘Brian’ the recycling bin; the compost bin in our kitchen; our soft plastics bin; and our batch of office ‘Carry Cups’ for the morning coffee runs. He also pioneered our afternoon yoga sessions, and the trend of littering our office with plants. Solar’s final project as Diamond Energy’s first Wellbeing Officer is the beautiful forest decal on our wall. He will be missed by all who knew him.
