18.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT- DGC will be once again closed from 9pm tomorrow (8th July 2020) until further notice. Classes pre-booked for the 8th of July will run as planned. We will continue to follow advice and plan to reopen when appropriate and safe to do so. An email has been sent to all impacted families. Please keep an eye out for a further email with details in regards to online classes. Our physical office will again be closed, please touch base via email if you do have any questio...ns. Please be patient with replies, these may take longer than normal as we will be working remotely. We are currently processing the impacts of this and working through logistics. We sincerely hope you all remain positive and healthy through such difficult times. The next 6 weeks will be tough on many but also a chance to come together (although apart) and shine as a community. I look forward to seeing you all in person one day in the future but for now please touch base if we can do anything for your families, we are all in this together. Sara & the DGC Team

The #GVLockdownChallenge will be a series of challenges for all Gymnastics Victoria clubs and members to participate in throughout the next few weeks. We would love for you to take part in these challenges representing DGC! There will be multiple opportunities for gymnasts to enter to help our club win prizes. ... HANDSTAND CHALLENGE! The first challenge is a Handstand Challenge to see which club can hold a handstand with no walking, no support (e.g walls, parent assistance, paralletts etc) & legs together for the longest average time. Entries for this challenge are open from Tuesday July 14 to Wednesday July 22. Our club could win $3000 for 1st place, $2000 for 2nd place, $1000 for 3rd!! DGC GYMNASTS We need a minimum of 10 participants (all gymnasts are welcome to enter; kindergym, recreational, gymstar, competitive, adults & teen gymnasts even DGC coaches! 09.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: This mornings announcement by the Victorian Premier is an exciting and positive step towards having our gymnasts return to class. Whilst we can not return to full operations this may allow some form of gymnastics to return. We are currently working through what day to day operations, class structures and return dates may look like and will provide updates via email to enrolled families in time. Whilst we are excited to start to get back to some form of norm...ality, we need to make sure the slow re open is done safely and carefully. We will not be rushing the process and we will be rolling out a return to gymnastics in careful and controlled stages. Our gymnasts, families and staff health and safety has been our top priority throughout this situation and we greatly appreciate all of your ongoing support. 05.01.2022 We have had so much fun with you all over the last few weeks and we are so excited for a year full of gymnastics and fun in 2021 but for now we wish you a safe and happy holidays with your family and loved ones! REMINDERS- Our final day of regular classes is Saturday December 19th DGC Drop & Shop night is on Tuesday the 22nd of December - bookings via the customer portal for enrolled gymnasts close on Dec 15th. The DGC office will reopen Jan 11th with classes resuming on Jan 27th 2021.

Today we are asking you R U OK? Ask your loved ones, friends, and neighbours not just today but tomorrow and the next day, and continue to do so. This starts an important ongoing conversation.
