22.01.2022 Evening team DITR, For your viewing pleasure I have put together these before and afters from yesterdays for territory. The sun was against me yesterday so photos are a bit ordinary, but I can tell you now, it come out a treat. Due to the level of grime some of the stains still remained.... 21.01.2022 Here we go, few hours spent and shes looking 95%. There are still some defects caused by previous owner not removing the bugs. This has caused them to etch through the paint. Im still extremely happy with how it has turned out. Bare with me, I have added all before, during and after photos (last 5 or so are after applying wax). This is so you can see the level of defects and how much correction I was able to do in 2 hours.... Happy viewing! Any questions, please ask!

21.01.2022 Busy weekend ahead for us here at DITR Started the day strong with this Ceramic coating job on this brand new Corolla. Curious as to why Ceramic Coating can get expensive? ... These are the steps we need to follow to ensure the job is done right the first time! Step 1 - Pressure clean vehicle, add bug and tar remover as required Step 2 - foam Canon to remove excess filth and 2 bucket hand wash Step 3 - decontaminate with Iron fall out (clay bar only if necessary) Step 4 - hand dry vehicle Step 5 - blow dry every nook and cranny Step 6 - IPA or wax and grease wipe down to remove any previous waxes or sealants (spray with water after to check all has been removed) Step 7 - fully inspect paint for imperfections and determine level of paint correction needed (This one only required a 1 step correction) Step 8 - fully machine polish vehicle with as many steps as required (tape off all black trim) Step 9 - IPA wipe down vehicle once more to remove any remaining polish residue Step 10 - Apply ceramic coating Step 11 - wait 30 minutes reapply ceramic coating (repeat as required, we do minimun 2 coats on all surfaces, 3 coats to bumper roof and bonnet) Step 12 - wait 60 minutes then apply sealant Step 13 - clean windows, black trim and inspect vehicle for high spots from coating Step 14 - final wipe down and return to customer. Mind blowing we know !!, All in all this job has taken just over 6 hours to complete to our standards. How good does it look?! 19.01.2022 Whats all the hype about hydrophobic wax sealants and ceramic coatings? To me, its pretty simple. Do you put sunscreen on when you go in the hot sun? Do you put a raincoat on or use an umbrella when its raining? If you answered yes to one or both of these, my question to you is, why not do the same to your car?... Wax sealants and cermaic coatings provide a superficial coating over the top of your paints clear coat to provide protection against - UV Rays - Bird droppings - bug guts - Tar - protection against dust scratching - Resistance to chemical and scratches. This is all dependant on the type and quality of sealant you use. Here at DITR, we use the best. The sealant used on this XE is a hybrid ceramic wax, which offers great protection for 6 months. Includes full paint decontamination, deep wheel clean, synthetic polymer wax sealant, full interior clean out UV protectant, carpet shampoo and leather clean and protect. You may think that after a scrub down your car is clean. But deep down there are contaminants in your paint that can negativley effect the way the light reflects off your vehi...cle adversely affecting the level of gloss your car can produce. A majority of the carpet pulled out quite well, the leading cause of all the stains.....Cereal. someone had been eating cereal in the car and spit what looks to be the entire bowl!! 05.01.2022 This is a time lapse of part of the process to remove cigarette smell from a vehcile. You will notice that all seats are removed which allows better access under the seats to ensure all the reminantes of the cigarette smell is soaked up. The process starts by removing the seat bolts, disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery, disconnecting the SRS-electric seats, then removing. Full vaccum and shampoo of all carpeted surfaces. The trim then gets treated to a bath of ...APC/Interior cleaner, steam cleaned and wiped dry. The A/C vents get steamed out followed by applying APC to the roof lining and steaming to pull out all the smoke smell. An oZone machnie then gets placed into the vehicle for 1hr as a pre-treatment whilst the seats are out. The seats are cleaned outside of the vehicle and then reinstalled. the Ozone machine then has a second run for 1 hour whilst the seats are in and the A/C is running to force all the smells out of the vehicle. This is a rather lenghty process but well worth it for a perfectly cleaned car. For more info, pelase inbox us! 02.01.2022 What a wicked day it was! Got the privilege to 3 stage paint correct this stunning example of an XE falcon. This car has recently been fully resprayed in Hot house green. After the owner cut it back with 2500 grit sand paper to remove any minor flaws in the paint, we stepped in and made magic happen.... Unfortunetly we were so keen to jump in the only "before" photos we got were of the roof.
