25.01.2022 For all the no Botox no Plastic Surgery women When they asked her to reveal her beauty secrets, Audrey Hepburn wrote this beautiful text that was later read a...t her funeral. To have attractive lips, speak kind words. To have a loving look, look for the good side of people. To look skinny, share your food with the hungry. To have beautiful hair, let a child cross it with his own fingers once a day. To have a beautiful poise, walk knowing you're never alone, because those who love and loved you accompany you. People, even more than objects, need to be fixed, spoiled, awakened, wanted and saved: never give up on anyone. Remember, if you ever need a hand, you'll find them at the end of both your arms. When you become old, you will discover that you have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others. The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, in her face or in her way of fixing her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the door open to her heart, the source of her love. The beauty of a woman doesn't lie in her makeup, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the tenderness that gives love, the passion that it expresses. The beauty of a woman grows over the years
24.01.2022 Life is always interesting if you allow it to unfold. I was taking my normal stroll today. I say stroll because my back is stopping me from doing the normal brisk heart rate up routine when a lovely lady stopped me and asked about my hair colour . We then had a chat about making the transition and letting mother nature take her course. The universe sends us messages all the time I can't do a hurried walk at the moment. If I had have been doing so today I would not have met that lady I would not have taken in so much detail around me .Birds of all colours gentle wind over my masked face and all the detail of the gorgeous world we live in. Let's get back to what really matters.
20.01.2022 I have a teaspoon of this every day in a cup of boiling water. Great for your gut skin and bones as well as your immune system.

15.01.2022 My thought for today is personal and has everything to do with beauty. Inner and outer. Beauty comes from the soul and sparkles through the eyes of the people we love. Today is my eldest daughters 25th wedding anniversary and I am so proud of her and my son in law Jim. and their son Oscar.
14.01.2022 If you are anything like me you are probably not wearing any make up at the moment. What's the point with masks covering our faces. This is the perfect time for cleaning out your make up bag. Get rid of out dated products wash your make up brushes and get ready for spring. Remember mascara should be replaced every three months and most products have a use by date.

07.01.2022 I have been living in geelong for eight years this week and on this beautiful day am celebrating by starting my day with a swim. So lucky to have such a beautiful pool just over the road from my home. So grateful.
06.01.2022 Decided that for five days I would photograph sunrises and sunsets. Why you ask. Why not I say.
05.01.2022 I get a little bit excited by amazing fresh food! Gifts from nature that nourish our real health and wellbeing. Vitamin A is a key nutrient towards prevent...ing infections from bacteria and viruses. Yet how much have we heard ANY mention at all on natural self help nutrition during the current covid crisis??!! It blows me away and it always has since I was a teenager, that we fall into the mercy and belief that manufactured foods and big pharma are ok. They're not ok. Well, atleast not if you value making your own proactive choices towards contributing to your healthful living experience. Vitamin A is essential to strong and healthy mucous membranes. Strong mucous membranes are more resistant and thus protective against 'invasion' from surrounding 'germs' = they are simply less able to get in. Vitamin A is especially valid in strengthening respiratory system including the lungs!!! What foods give it to me? Carotene in vegetables is converted to vitamin A during digestion. Orange foods - carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin, red capsicum and tomatoes Green leafy vegetables - spinach, kale, watercress and parsley Cabbage, asparagus and green beans Broccoli and brussel sprouts Avocado and sweet corn Apricots, peaches, rockmelon, papaya and pineapple Pumpkin and sunflower seeds Nuts - cashews, pecans Red lentils Soya beans (make sure they’re not GMO) Animal sources that contain vitamin A: cod liver oil is one of the richest sources - if you supplement with these ensure premium quality Vitamin A is depleted by alcohol and cigarettes More vitamin A is required in compromised air quality such as air conditioning and city pollution. These are daily necessary additions to your diet. Organic where possible, do what you can. Add a good dose of love as you eat and take in this good nourishment. Be well x

01.01.2022 Vitamin D is very important for our health. Make sure that you get at least 20 mins of sunshine and fresh air every day because of covid 19 we are inside most of the day Even a gentle walk around the block in the morning sun can be very beneficial.
01.01.2022 When I bought my apartment eight years ago and my family were helping me renovate the one thing I wanted to fit in was a bath. My son in law went to no end of trouble to fit it himself and I am so glad that he succeeded. My morning bath is my start to every day. It's not only good for the soul and very relaxing but on these freezing cold mornings it warms my body right through for the day. There are a myriad of fizz bombs oils and bubbles to choose from so it can also be great for your skin. Finish with body lotion all over and your warm and set for the day.
