24.01.2022 Cafe Primo - Morphett Vale A very Valiant effort. Thank you Steve Linke for the recommendation. After careful consideration, it received 3 solid scores of 8.5/10. This was very nice!... Colour: smack bang on light brown Texture: very smooth and perfect balance of consistency Flavour: a very pungent and distinct taste of French onion/shallots and very well balanced. It seemed to get more enjoyable the more I ate. Would definitely come back again to have again. This was so good that we are considering doing a face off between Pt Noarlunga and Cafe Primo. 24.01.2022 Schnitzel with rice?

24.01.2022 We last visited The Maid Hotel almost three months ago and gave it a score of 6 for an lacklustre sauce. Giving it another opportunity today paid off, with a stronger flavoured sauce - almost too strong, but still enjoyable. A 7.5.

23.01.2022 The Bridgewater Inn Colour: A very reasonable goldeny brown Texture: not too thick, not too thin Presentation: sauce on the side...... yes I did a double Diane. Flavour: well balanced but nothing ambitious regarding taste sensation. The tang was there but not bold enough. All flavour was there but didnt have that kick of taste sensation like the Port Noarlunga Hotel has.... Score: 6.5/10 Would come again but would like to experience more kick in the recipe See more

22.01.2022 The Chippo in Chippendale, Sydney So........ they only do a gravy and Schnitzel and we convinced the chef to give Diane sauce a go. Texture: Creamy and smooth... Colour: more orange than brown Taste: definitely not a traditional Diane but did have a hint of the tang. Considering that the chef did not have Diane on the menu and came up with this, it was highly impressive. Body: not entirely balanced and after taste slighly sweet. Needs a little more balance Number of tasters: 3 Aggregate rating: 7 (because they also put Tool on as we ate) Well done lads! Highly impressed for what we will now call a pressure Diane sauce for those pubs that give it a go! P.s. we also got another photo with the chef and the manager!

19.01.2022 It is a very special day for the Diane Sauce Appreciation Society (DSAS). Today we reached likes which is a very exciting milestone and one that has come up very quickly. Clearly there are a lot of fans out there that take their Diane Sauce as seriously as we do! A big thank you to all our followers and on behalf of the board at the DSAS, we thank you all for your ongoing support and for accompanying us in our quest in finding the ultimate Diane Sauce experience! ... Port Noarlunga Hotel, you still lead the way.............. In case you were not aware, we are now receiving enquiries from restaurants asking us to rate their Diane Sauce which is also an incredible milestone that has been achieved. A big thank you again to all our followers, please keep us posted of any restaurants sporting an awesome Diane Sauce and we will post again soon!

18.01.2022 Hot off the press! Apparently the traditional Diane sauce is made with mushrooms. Courtesy of speaking with an ex chef tonight.

16.01.2022 Happy Saturday to all our DSAS fans and followers! We are headed to the Old Noarlunga Hotel tonight and will be doing a review of their Diane Sauce. We have been hearing some good things with their Diane sauce so we are looking forward to an explosive taste sensation. Review will be done with 3 tasters tonight............ Watch this space, review coming shortly.

16.01.2022 The Gilbert St Hotel good beer.. but no diane sauce.. 0/10

14.01.2022 British Hotel North Adelaide. This one was very impressive. The flavour ranked very high on the mysterious tangy taste experience that the more experienced chefs out there put into their Diane Sauce. Colour was a very dark brown and had slightly overpowering flavour of tomato sauce. I almost felt I could taste sweet chilli in this recipe which was both refreshing, unorthodox and ambitious.... All in all I am giving this one an 8/10 and would definitely have it again. Thank you Sylvia Victor for being part of this taste testing and review today. It was also a special day for her today as it was her Diane Sauce coronation! Welcome Sylvia to the Diane Sauce Appreciation Society and please pass on any reviews of restaurants in Melbourne in pursuit of the ultimate Diane Sauce experience.

14.01.2022 Saturday night 8th August (a little slow on uploading the review) Restaurant: The Woodcroft Hotel Presentation: Appearance looked good but Schnitzel was disappointingly small. Gravy on the side. Chips were great... Sauce texture: Not bad taste but texture Was very runny and very thin in flavour. Had a slight tang but not enough and flavour and did not last long on the palette. Flavour: characteristics were there but something major was missing, perhaps not enough cream Sauce colour: mid to light brown (acceptable) Score: 5.5/10 (lots of work to do) ****Schnitty pics now in 3D****

12.01.2022 Forget the Duck Inn. No diane - no point!

12.01.2022 It’s been a few months so had to pop into the Port Noarlunga Hotel for a beef schnitzel with diane sauce. The sauce is still top of its game. Next week we try somewhere new!

12.01.2022 Aloha to all our DSAS followers, Tonight we are reviewing the Southern Districts Workingmen’s Club.... We have been hearing some good things about their Diane sauce so we are very excited to taste the Diane explosion that many have been raving about. Review coming, watch this space....................

10.01.2022 Do not adjust your screen! Yes that is a parmi topping but no the parmi propaganda has not infiltrated the group. We had noticed a concerning trend with our friends over at the Adelaide Schnitzel Appreciation Group for parmi schnitzels with sauce over the top. Always ones for trying new things we decided to give it a shot during our invited review of the Southern Districts Working Men’s Club diane sauce this week. Whilst the schnitzel was quite good, the diane sauce fell flat and failed to impress. Watery and without any real flavour notes, the culmulative score was a 15.5/30. As for parmi plus sauce? Yeah maybe.

09.01.2022 Good evening fellow Diane sauce lovers. We are at the aussie inn tonight ready to do a review of their Diane sauce. Watch this space, review coming shortly............ The Aussie Inn Hotel, give us your best Diane that you have got :)

07.01.2022 A solid 7.5/10 from the Corio Hotel Goolwa, could have been an 8 with a bit more sauce, but good flavours on a good chicken schnitzel. Dunno about the forest of green on top though

06.01.2022 Para Hills community club, Shnitty diane sauce. Solid 8/10. Thick darkish sauce, garlic on point, and balanced tang. Sauce over the top, and chips on the side only one reviewer, just me Thank you Craig Hughes for the review

06.01.2022 We’re back bitches

06.01.2022 Texture: good mouth feel, nice and creamy. Very pleasant actually Presentation: fine. Not quite enough Daiane to cover the schnitzel Colour: light goldeny brown Flavour: doesnt have the pop and tang of the Pt Noarlunga. It was nice but not very ambitious. Had sweet with a nice balance of savoury with hint of garlic but not the explosion I was hoping for Number if tasters: 2... Aggregate score: 6.25/10 Summary: A very solid representation of Diane Sauce but nothing inspiring....... See more

05.01.2022 The Aussie Inn Hotel Colour: A very reasonable dark brown Texture: Very smooth and well balanced! Presentation: Sauce on the side......Schnitzel cooked perfectly. Flavour: Very impressive! Perfection on the pallate and a real powerful after taste. Seriously, this is a damn good Diane sauce! Tang was spot on, and had a perfect amount of sweetness. The Aussie Inn Hotel, you have impressed tonight. Not too gluggy, really clean tasting... # of tasters: 2 Aggregate Score: 8.5/ 10 See more

04.01.2022 How better to celebrate 100 likes than to go to the Port Noarlunga Hotel and enjoy a Diane Sauce Shnitty........

03.01.2022 Where's good for a diance sauce schnitty in the Adelaide CBD or nearby?

03.01.2022 Barmera Club - a good sized schnitzel and good chips, no salad (extra $) but a great spot in a even greater little town. The diane sauce was pretty decent - a bit better than your average pub sauce, so let’s call this one a 7.5/10

02.01.2022 Thank you Darren Armstrong for checking out the Lyndoch Hotel. Lots of sauce but a tad salty. Overall very good and he smashed it down. Rating: 7/10
