24.01.2022 Transformation Tuesday // We’re so proud of our team and their amazing achievements throughout the NT Government Town Camp project. This is the refurbishment works completed at House 33 Bagot Community.... Some of the major works completed include: Upgrade to windows with new bladed galleries and external security screens Installation of a completely new stainless-steel kitchen. This now provides the tenants with a functional and spacious living area for the whole family.

19.01.2022 Another new toy to add to our DICE collection. Construction Manager, Lindsay, was thrilled to take possession of a new telehandler recently. The telehandler adds to DICE’s growing fleet of vehicles and machinery and to meet the demands of our diverse construction projects.



19.01.2022 Meet Terry, our Project Division Manager. Terry has been in the electrical trade industry in the Territory since the early 70s. So, he has seen a lot of changes through the years.... In fact, he has worked on some of the most iconic projects that have helped shape the Darwin landscape today. Including: Rebuilding after Cyclone Tracy Royal Darwin Hospital Darwin Museum Double Tree Hilton and Performing Arts Center Initial stages of Robertson Barracks Most of the Sporting and Community facilities at the Marrara Sporting Precinct Several of the larger northern suburb developments through the 1980’s Terry is a pivotal part of the DICE team and we admire his strong work ethic and his passion to instill his vast knowledge onto others. We love that he still enjoys the hands-on site work with the crews - completing projects or repairing breakdowns. 17.01.2022 Happy Monday . We're proud to announce that our DICE construction team have been awarded the contract from East Arnhem Regional Council to install shade shelters and grandstands at the Galiwin’ku oval grounds on Elcho Island.

17.01.2022 Our DICE construction team is thrilled to be heading to Yarralin in the upcoming weeks, to provide upgrades to 15 remote community houses on behalf of the NT Government Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics. With COVID 19 restrictions creating significant delays to the award of this project, the upgrades are long overdue and the tenants are thrilled to know their current dwellings will soon be transformed into functional homes. Yarralin, also known as Walangeri, is a remote community located 382 KM South-West of Katherine.

17.01.2022 Exciting News Our solar team has commenced an installation at Burudu, a remote NT outstation. A 108kWh battery system coupled to 50.82kW of solar will be installed, which is sufficient capacity to supply the community with renewable power for 12-16 hours per day. #ABA #NIAA

13.01.2022 Transformation Tuesday // Check out this refurb of House 13 at Amangal Indigenous Village, Adelaide River as part of the NT Government Town Camp Project. This entire six-bedroom house was completely gutted with walls, ceilings and flooring replaced throughout.... Originally a 3 bedroom house, the entire building was redesigned and rebuilt as a 6 bedroom house. This project has changed the tenants' lives. They now feel house-proud and more comfortable in their own home with a functional and healthy space for their family. It was a pleasure to be a part of the complete transformation of this home.

He has been working with DICE as a labourer and his reliability and work ethic have led to his success in receiving an apprenticeship . Some of the major works completed include: Installation of a new stainless-steel kitchen and cupboard storage, including new sink, taps and oven Re-tiling of kitchen walls and splash back Louvre blades were replaced as required throughout Toilet replaced Complete internal and external paint including Colourbond ceilings on exterior Plumbing and pipes replaced / repaired throughout Entirely new electrical wiring, fitting and fixtures throughout New plasterboard ceiling throughout. This incredible initiative not only improves the tenants living environment but increases employment opportunities in NT communities.

09.01.2022 Another commercial solar system delivered by iSolarNT. A 39.6 kW solar system utilising 330w Jinko solar panels with Fronius Symo inverters. The system is estimated to produce over 73,000 kWh a year with an expected return of investment in under 3 years.

09.01.2022 It’s been an extremely productive few weeks here at DICE. Our construction team have been working hard with 15 Remote Community Housing upgrades in Yarralin currently underway. Immense progress has already been made with the first 3 completed renovations close to handover. ... The team is doing a great job under the current heatwave conditions that have hit the NT in the last week.

Caged verandah area on the side of the house was modified with walls, windows and doors, increasing the number of bedrooms from three to four Installation of a new stainless-steel kitchen and cupboard storage, including new sink and taps Toilets replaced Complete internal and external paint Plumbing and pipes replaced / repaired throughout Entirely new electrical wiring, fitting and fixtures throughout Retiling of elevated section of the house, including bedrooms, passageway and wet areas Louvre window blades replaced / repaired as required Security screens replaced / repaired as required Front verandah area extended by 500mm to the entire length of verandah Being able to provide families with a functional home through our housing upgrades brings our team so much joy and accomplishment.

Some of the major works completed include: ... Installation of a new stainless-steel kitchen and cupboard storage Installation of upright stove Installation of new roof sheeting and insulation Installation of solar hot water system Raising the level of the kitchen floor for the new stove to be at a safe and workable height Complete refurbishment of the bathroom All new electrical and plumbing throughout Painting of internal and external walls and internal ceilings throughout Custom made security screens installed throughout An entirely new room was also built as an addition to the existing building. This involved building a steel frame wall, with colour bond clad exterior and fibro sheet interior walls. The significant alterations have provided the tenants with not only a functional living space, but a place to call home.
