25.01.2022 Lane Availability update for Monday 16th March: Great day for a swim!! We have had a late cancellation of the carnival scheduled so we have full access to all pools all day. 6am-7pm.

25.01.2022 As the 2019/20 season starts to draw to a close we reflect on our 'Lap Legends'. Together, this dedicated bunch swam over 8650km this season. 1225km of the total, or 2400 laps were swum by Alan Vogt. This is the highest total achieved in the 20+ years of Lap Legends.... Well done Alan. True dedication with 350 visits in 5 months! We are sure your mountain bike and the trails of Canberra will be pleased to have you back after your final swim next Wednesday.

24.01.2022 Planning to come for a splash this weekend? Yes you kinda need to plan ahead. Last weekend some sessions BOOKED OUT and we had to turn people away. We hate disappointing you. In true 2020 style things are a little different (trust us we don't love it either!). ... We can only have 500 people on site at any one time. We have session times and have a deep clean in between sessions and all general public must leave the site. You can come at any time in the session, however everyone must be off site by the end of the session. Good news is that the session times give you four chances a day to get your swim in. Weekend session times are as follows: 8:00am-9:30am 10:00am-12:30pm 1:00pm-3:30pm 4:00pm-7:00pm Hit the book now button at the top of our Facebook page Book through the home page of our website

24.01.2022 To manage COVID-19 capacity restrictions we currently have in place a session timetable and a booking system. We are now taking bookings for our opening day on Saturday 31 October. Hit the Book Now on our Facebook page or head to our website to access the booking tool.... Here is a few details about the system: You will be able to book into set 1 hour 45min sessions on weekdays and 2 hour 45 minute sessions on weekends and public holidays. You will not be able to enter ahead of their session start time. You will need to depart the facility at the end of the session to enable cleaning to take place. Bookings are currently open for the same day or next day only at this stage. Bookings can be changed up to 12 hours before the scheduled booking. Online bookings will not be available once a session has commenced, please call or drop in to check capacity. Casual entries must be booked and paid for through the online portal. Members and multiple visit pass holders should book through the online portal to secure a spot. You will need to swipe your card on entry. Patrons are welcome to arrive without booking, however note that entry is only possible if capacity exists and you will be required to provide details on entry. We appreciate your patience while we all get used to the new system.

23.01.2022 We can't wait to open on Saturday 31 October 2020. Things will be a little different as our number one priority is to be COVID safe. - Online enrolments for Swim School programs available from this coming week. - Sign up for memberships and passes online from Monday 26 October.... - Online bookings for all pool entries will be required so that we can manage restricted numbers on site. - Our new kiosk ap will enable you to order your coffee or hot chips from pool deck (or the carpark!) and have them waiting for you. You will also see plenty of reminders to: - Maintain hand hygeine - Keep your distance - Stay home if you are unwell - Respectfully follow staff direction and signage We are looking forward to seeing you back at the pool.

18.01.2022 We are sorry we have been a little quiet. Usually by October we would be very excited about an imminent opening. As you can imagine there are many challenges in operating the Dickson Pool Facility at this time. We are doing everything we can to get the pools and the facility ready and COVID safe and we were planning a 19 October opening.... At this point, however, we have been unable to secure the certainty that the pool operations will be viable and supported for the duration of the seasonwe hope this will be forthcoming. We are currently working towards a delayed opening on Saturday 31 October. We will keep you updated and hope to see you all soon Team DAC & our beloved duck family

17.01.2022 THANK YOU! As the 2019/20 season draws to a close we start to reflect on what was the most challenging season of the 23 years we have been fortunate to be managing the Dickson Pool. - We all had heavy hearts as communities around us were devastated by fire. ... - School visits were cancelled. - Our 5 holiday learn to swim programs were cancelled. - The events we had planned were cancelled. - We had variable opening hours due to air quality. We thrive on making people smile and bringing families together, overall we got to see around 50,000 less smiling faces through our doors this summer. Thank you for your patience - particularly our swim school families - as we all navigated the unprecedented conditions in December and January. We appreciated your understanding. We hope you will give us another chance and we will see you all back for lessons in October. We can't wait to be back on 19 October 2020. Stay safe x

Pay online Existing members will have their passes automatically renewed New members (or those who have misplaced their cards) will be able to collect their membership at reception during our opening hours from 31 October. Our pool booking system will be available to take bookings tomorrow for sessions up to 48 hours in advance. Stay tuned.

Get tips on encouraging your child's water confidence from one of our qualified instructors (10:15am-10:45am). ... Held 10:00am to 11:30am every Tuesday and Friday until the 18 December.
