15.01.2022 Just letting people know the guesthouse is currently unavailable due to renovations. When finished we will have two self contained units, one of which has been ...designed to be suitable for people with a disability. Camping is still available and our new amenities are up and running with hot showers, toilets and a small camp kitchen (toaster, kettle, fridge, electric frypan and sink). For larger groups we also have a coldroom available for $15 per day. Also please note that we have now cancelled our landline after 5 years of absolute hell with it, so if wanting to book please call Mal on 0457 357 909 or Anne on 0498 090 370.

09.01.2022 A post I came across recently about non Aboriginal people promoting and selling/making a profit out of Bush Foods made me stop and think. I am non Aboriginal and I love bush foods, it is a passion for me, our native foods are high in nutrition, have fantastic medical values and are just the best, because they grow in our soil, they grow in our climates and best of all don't need excessive care. Being a non Aboriginal person promoting bush foods, and Didja Plant Natives does... that, plus those who sell, create and process Bush foods, does so to make it right for the other Non Aboriginal people in Australia to appreciate. I am going to quote (without offense I hope) a fella who walked passed our stall at one of our markets, who stopped and taught his child about the plants on the table that this was "black fellas food", as soon as the non Aboriginal people heard that statement, they walked straight passed our stall. By being a non Aboriginal person talking, teaching and exampling our native foods, and their benefits, I am teaching other non Aboriginal people to enjoy them, grow them and hopefully helping the Aboriginal businesses in the process. I would appreciate my friends sharing their views on this post, about how they feel about us continuing our business when we get it back up and running again. I will also point out that I have assisted Aboriginal businesses with both information and plants as well. See more
