19.01.2022 Jason from Jays Landscaping recently let us loose on his new Ford Ranger. He was chasing some more towing grunt but a little wary of paying for a custom tune. The promise of better economy as well, helped his decision.... We got some great gains and after a few weeks thorough, real world testing by Jay, he was genuinely surprised at the results. More power, more torque and better fuel economy! If you would like more from your Ranger (or other CRDI vehicle) be sure to send us a message for your quote!

14.01.2022 3 Tips for Diesel owners looking for performance gains.

13.01.2022 A little Diesel 101 for your Wednesday. One of the most overlooked issues with modern-day diesel engines is the issues caused by the EGR valve and the positive crankcase ventilation systems. We hear all too often "I don't need to clean my intake manifold, my car gets serviced at the dealership on time every time".... However, care of your intake system is not part of your general service and requires separate attention. Have a look at the image below, this is the intake on a diesel vehicle with less than 100,000kms on the clock. "Soot" build up can cause the following issues. 1. Low torque. 2. Slow or "Laggy" throttle response. 3. Low horsepower figures. 4. Poor fuel economy. 5. Richer fuel mixtures. 6. Added engine heat. And worst of all, it happens slowly so you often miss the signs of build up and it goes unattended.
