25.01.2022 Cummins 6BT RSV governed pump. This is not an automotive governor (RQV-K ), however with some modifications this pump will have full power until 3400rpm. These are very sensitive, the governor spring is heavy, so a little work may be needed to help your foot operate the throttle lever. This is a tidy 300 rwhp set up in a Patrol. We also changed the plungers, even though they were both 12mm, the original has a retard slot on the helix. Not needed, and it reduces max potential fuel delivery.

14.01.2022 On the outside this DC9 TD 42 looks like a DC6, but internally it can deliver more fuel and maintain it until 4400 rpm. We also experimented with a hiflow nozzle, the flow potential was over 400 RWHP. More work is needed on the injector, but a step in the right direction.

13.01.2022 It took some time but now we're ready for vehicle testing. After great success with our 1VD piezo now we can put time in these hiflow 1GD injectors.

08.01.2022 Our DC9 TD42 pump set to 390 RWHP. DC 9 Injectors can then flow over 450 RWHP of fuel. This is not for the daily driver. Maybe one of these can be used at the Diesel Assault Willowbank Raceway.

03.01.2022 The KSB is used to assist cold engine start up. The engine design determines whether extra or less timing is needed to assist the engine starting in different climates. With this removed, we can now change our advance curve and increase injection timing. This pump was set to 2200 rpm rated speed, now this pump can support the engine up to 4000 rpm rated speed with extra timing to assist.
