20.01.2022 Jesse made the 6 hour trip from Comet with his 2008 79 series with 320,000 kms on the clock. It was time for a new set of injectors intake clean, and while it was all apart we also installed a new starter motor. We installed an egr cooler delete as well, and he already had a NPC clutch kit fitted. Then it was time for the Dieselflash custom Remap. With the stock tune it was running an air fuel ratio of 26:1 which is very lean. It was sooo slow with the stock tube, and we got excellent results from installing our remap, the air fuel ratio is now a safe and powerful 19:1 and it now pulls like a V8 cruiser should. The smile on jesses face says it all Dieselflash FNQ has a workshop with a hoist to complete more than just our Remaps and we offer competitive prices

20.01.2022 Well that ends a massive 5 days thanks to the everyone from Townville, Ayr, Home Hill and Bowen its been a pleasure heres a sample of todays Work a PX1 Ranger lets say after the experience he had with his old hilux at another tuner think hes going to be a lot happier this time, a 3ltr Bt50 with a custom made manifold and bigger Garrett Turbo and a nice custom made Remap it now flys and the trusty old Triton reducing turbo lag from 2 weeks to half a second he couldnt believe how good it is now

13.01.2022 A 200 series in the workshop 360,000kms on the clock for new injectors intake clean had 2 stuck injectors but with the right tools and my secret brew and methods to get it to soak down the injector over the weekend they came out happy days compression test done and within Toyota specs time for reinstall

12.01.2022 So was up at Watsons Automotive at Bowen today and this customer bought this 200 series 2nd hand last year with 96,000kms on the clock decided it was time to get a remap and to turn the egr off and get an intake clean done, it already has a catch can on it so thats good, when I went for a stock drive I put the foot down and watched the plum of black smoke like a good old coal fired power station and as I looked at the afr meter we had A great 15.1 air fuel ratio oh dear s...o a quick check of the live data revealed a egr thats still running and a massive increase in rail pressure over stock, so a look in the engine bay and found hiding in under the primary fuel filter revealed all, our favorite fuel rail pressure chip so off with the chip straight in the bin and in with a Dieselflash custom remap running a great 18.5 Afr all back in the safe zone now if you have a rail chip there is only one place for it...... 08.01.2022 Now it sounds like a V8 #mantaexhaust Twin dump system fitted up to this cruiser today fitted with a cat and hotdog can sneak around but put that foot to the floor she cracks

08.01.2022 So a 79series in for a clutch upgrade and remap we expect a stock Air fuel ratio around 20-21 this one was at 17 so knew the intake was going to pretty blocked up the scary part this has only 87,000kms on it

07.01.2022 A Troop Carrier in for some Dieselflash treatment with 215,000 on the clock first up was a check of the injector values with the scan tool all was in order there, Then off with the intake it had a blank plate with the drilled hole treatment so it doesnt throw a code but as you can see you still get some egr soot and the oil vapor building up, So egr off in the remap and a #directionsplus catch can fitted up no more build up going down the track. And finally a custom Dieselflash remap this one we setup with a peak of 19psi boost and with our fuel changes we are running a 19 afr when stock was 20 and the change to drivability is just awsome all done for longevity and covered by our 2 year warranty

05.01.2022 So we will call him John he accidentally overfilled his amarok 4cyl with engine oil quite a lot extra... and it went bang throwing rods out of the block so in the process of removing the engine and having to turn it over to remove the bolts for the torque converter I could get 2 out of 3 but crank locked up and couldnt get to no.3 as it sound like it was down the front I installed a new inspection window to see what was going on.....

03.01.2022 Sometimes our job is more than just kilowatts. Dylan is a tradie from Townsville and contacted us about his 2012 1KD Hilux. Most of the time these present no problem to all tuners, but there are a couple of differences in some of the early cars that confuses some tuners. And thats what happened to Dylan. He went to the so called Biggest and best tuner in Townsville and they tried to remap the ECU. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful and Dylan was told the car couldnt be... remapped. He was still disappointed with the stock power so he contacted us at Dieselflash and we agreed to tune it on our next trip north. Im happy to say we overcome the problems that they had and we successfully remapped it today. The file we installed was our unique custom tune we offer. It a combination of our dyno developed base tune, and then we conduct data logging and air fuel ratio analysis on our local cars. This gives the best of both worlds, a world class dyno developed tune, but individually customised locally to suit each car. We were happy with the final result of air fuel ratios of 18.5:1 at 3000rpm offering a great towing tune. And with 60% power increases from 2000 revs, it has the industry leading power and torque gains our customers have come to expect. Dylans excitement can be seen in the video and we are looking forward to talking to his mates that also have Hiluxs.
