10.01.2022 First off no-one actually got both correct. Most Expensive - Audio Interface This is because its been customised. But honestly, we have an equipment list on our website so you could have gone there looked up what we have and found the most expensive thing anyway.... Most Used - Studio Monitors (Adam 8 studio monitors) The reason this is most used is because we have more than one sound card and someone people bring their own sound card too. Plus we sometimes plug my decks in and play from them. We gave entries for the following also: Desk While the desk is used very often, We didnt really think of it as a piece of equipment (Even though it probably is). We were originally thinking sound specific equipment. But it is used a lot so we gave entries for that. Back lights We actually never turn the back lights off, so they probably are the most used technically. But as We said before, we were initially thinking Audio specific equipment. Treatment: While it is probably most used, we didnt think of it as a piece of equipment, but we just gave it an entry anyway These were people who had entries in the draw for their answers: 1. 09.01.2022 Just under 2 months ago we moved the studio to a new building, it was epic! Getting use to a new room was challenging. But we prevail We have some exciting music news to share with you all in the coming weeks on future releases, some special offers and producer nights. Aka (show and tell) Feels good to be home

09.01.2022 ----Mix in review--- Last weeks Mix of the track DMT by BOI KING KOI was changeling. After sending a mixdown to be mastered it came back not how the Artist had imagined. So time to reinvission, back to the writing stage. ... Using a Roland Se-02 the bass was re recorded and simplified. Kick drum was also replaced with a VST Punchbox using a 909 sample with shorter release. With just a few new elements on the track it was clear this is what was needed. So the lesson Ive learnt from this is to work in unison with my artists and produce alongside them on the sounds before bouncing stems for mixdown. A rewarding project for me personally learning about communication with my client my role as a producer/mix engineer. DMT with be out on August 23rd on Hi-Tech Records
