24.01.2022 Hey hey! Im getting more and more emails and inboxes about what workshops and opportunities are on the go and I thought I'd streamline the process again and update my email list. I specialise in teaching people how to use cameras and editing software, in addition to a whole bunch of other stuff like employment skills, how to start a business, budgeting etc. Some are face to face (in Adelaide SA) and some of them are online. Ones through Onkaparinga Youth are either subsidised... or FREE (for under 25s) and I work with other clients that offer a similar deal in many cases (any ages) If you'd like to be added to the email list, please let me know! I won't spam you I promise :D

24.01.2022 A big thankyou to Seaford Rotary Club and Huntfield Heights Primary School for inviting me to join them for remembrance day. The ceremony this morning was beautiful!!

22.01.2022 Can't share any photos that have participants in it due to their age but I had an absolute blast! Cannot wait for the next opportunity to collaborate with Flinders Uni and Micro X again. Ive never run photography and editing classes so quickly! Hope that the students from the 3 schools had as much fun as I did today!

22.01.2022 Yesterday I was immersed in wisdom and knowledge from others within the Volunteer sector. My favourite take away was hearing "Cognitive reasoning alone cannot lead to transformation in a world fraught with uncertainties and the unknown" by a very inspiring leader within our community. I hope you enjoy Mike's recap of my presentation! I had a fantastic day!!

21.01.2022 Today I ran another session of PHOTOVOICE, a program dedicated to domestic violence survivors telling their story through the art of photography For obvious reasons I cannot say who the group is and usually I wouldn't be posting photos from the day but this anonymous participant gave me permission to share this image. She wanted to capture a photo that highlighted the things she had been told that were not true (but when said enough times... becomes easy to beleive...) ... I cannot begin to express how proud of the group I am, and of this participant in particular for their bravery. Just incase you needed to hear it today... You are liked. You are loved. You are worthy. You are precious. You are valuable and you deserve to be HAPPY and SAFE!!! Don't hesitate to contact someone if you are confused about your situation or feel that you (or someone you care about) needs help. You can find several useful resources here: www.sa.gov.au//domestic-violence-and-sexu/support-services Wishing you a safe and happy weekend. Xx

16.01.2022 Really looking forward to the session this evening kicking off on the topic of working and job seeking. Can't wait to see you there!

16.01.2022 Another school visited with yet another group of students feeling a little bit more confident about the world of work after highscool. That was LOADS of fun!! I loved it! I hope they did too!! I might be a little bias but I think How to Adult should be taught at every school! ... What do YOU think?

15.01.2022 Loved catching up with Seafood Rotary Club for their end polio now fundraiser at Seaford Bunnings last weekend. These guys do sooo much in the community. If you see them at Bunnings have a chat and grab a sausage!

13.01.2022 The sunglare is strong today! About to start a STEM outreach program in collaboration with Flinders University and Micro-X called "seeing things differently" Todays work will tie in Photography and Xray imaging to showcase and educate regarding applications and pathways in both science and art.... I AM SO EXCITED! Have a great day!!

03.01.2022 Into wine? Get onto this fundraiser and support your community the fun way! P.s. incase you've never seen Digido Studios graphic design work before - this was a document template l made for these awesome dudes months ago! Great to see its still being used!

02.01.2022 And the first session of How to Adult (working and job seeking) was brought to you by a TERRIFIED girl who discovered her secret superpower is her ability to EPICLY FAIL and still keep doing awesome things despite it. Give yourself time to explore what you want to do with your life!! Failure is not the end of the story. Being an adult sometimes means being clueless but remaining open to discovering yourself (and your superpowers) in the process. Few of us actually have everything figured out regardless of our age. Its okay to still be figuring out what you want to be! Keep persisting and magic will happen. Sincerely, Captain Australia

02.01.2022 Can I just say a BIG thankyou to Mr and Mrs Nussey for booking Digido Studios on Thursday for their special day! The couple were kind enough to provide a unique opportunity for two young up-and-coming photographers to gain experience doing a wedding shoot. The two photographers (Jason and Jayden) were previous students of the "Pop Up Studio" workshop series (delivered with Onkaparinga Youth). Despite the challenges of Covid they have continued to develop their portfolios and... they have persisted to make their mark as very capible and creative photographers. Not an easy task by any means. I couldn't be more proud of my trainees, and I couldn't feel more honoured to be involved in the couples special day! (Enjoy this lil behind the scenes shot and keep your eyes out for more to come)
