18.01.2022 Some of Australia's brightest minds are joining the #digitalhealth revolution - one is molecular bioscientist Alan Robertson, this year awarded a DHCRC PhD scholarship in collaboration with The University of Queensland and Queensland Health . Alan's award-winning startup ClearSky is developing a genome browser to unlock the clinical potential of genomics testing. Our ‘mychro’ browser means it is just as easy for a doctor to understand the information in a patient’s DNA as it is for them to read an Xray or a CT scan. It’s an Xray for DNA! he explains. His PhD research will advance the way genomic data is used in Qld Health. Read more here: https://www.digitalhealthcrc.com/phd-profile-clear-skies-a/

10.01.2022 Why do we need a roadmap for our future digital health workforce? As Professor Tim Shaw, Research Director at the Digital Health CRC and Professor of Digital Health at the University of Sydney, has said: The global digital health focus remains on the role of emerging technologies more than on the capabilities required for the health workforce to use them effectively. This is despite the significant health workforce impacts that are expected. Digital health is evolving from an eHealth orientation to encapsulate emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, genomics and advanced robotics.
