02.01.2022 At Digital Humans we embrace the theme of this years NSW Seniors Festival - #GrowYoung We're so excited to share the profile of Kumar Pereira Tech Ambassador Kumar became a household name in Australia thanks to his impressive performance in the cooking juggernaut television series Masterchef in 2011. He impressed the judges and the public not only for his excellent cooking and flavour combinations but also with his calm and positive attitude under extreme pressure. Kumar t...rained as a graphic designer, then worked in education and now cooks for a living as well as pleasure. He is also currently involved in voluntary capacity teaching low cost meals for disadvantaged and seniors with disability. He always had a keen interest in food and has now published Kumar’s Family Cookbook. As well as a blog which both feature his own beautifully hand-drawn illustrations. Last year Kumar completed a set of beautifully illustrated all occasion cards depicting fruit, flowers and vegetables and feature quick and easy recipes and a second series is due for release in 2016.
