25.01.2022 Pub Lane held up well to the recent rain event. This minor damage was from water running off the steep section of the fire road as it climbs the steep pinch. We can fix it next dig day.

23.01.2022 More dig day pics

23.01.2022 What we did today.

22.01.2022 Will be checking how our work has held up after the recent rain events. I'll get some pics

19.01.2022 A large excavator has been working on the fire road over the last 2 days. When I heard it, I first thought that they had started working on our track. Can't start too soon!

19.01.2022 Dig Day this Saturday peeps. Don't be a stranger, come along and meet the group. See the event post for details.

19.01.2022 Dig Day weather - If it doesn't rain anymore tonight and tomorrow morning, we should be good to go digging tomorrow. I will confirm either way at 7:00 am tomorrow morning.

17.01.2022 One day, a long time ago I followed excavator tracks and found this excavator digging Horseshoe. We might see an excavator on Stage 1 (AKA Pub Lane) in the not to distant future.......

15.01.2022 Just confirming, todays dig day is off. See you in the New Year! Dave

15.01.2022 Does a dig day on Saturday the 8th of August sound good? We'll judge it by how many say they can make it. Be great to get this trail care community together so we can meet and enjoy ourselves. It's a great way to recharge ourselves, introduce children to the bush, share a passion and ultimately ride, run or walk on our handy work.

14.01.2022 This is Stage 1 and a road map of how to get to the start. There is a map of the reserve if you ride up towards the reservoir at the fire road junction. Note how to get to Surefoot using the fire roads. I recommend riding down Surefoot and out up Monarch, Pinto, Horseshoe back to the start. You can also get to the start from Springfield.

14.01.2022 The details of the dig day. Start 8:00 am and finish 11:00 am. Saturday the 8th of August. Dig days will be the second Saturday of every month. Bring the family, it's a great way to introduce children to the bush. Have a good breakfast and bring 2 litres of water, a snack and tools if you have them. We have a few fire rakes, mattocks and shovels. Building a community is just as important as building the trail. We have a COVID safe process. Unfortunately, there'll be no BBQ until we a rid of the threat of COVID-19. Please feel free to ask questions here. Cheers, Dave

13.01.2022 Great work today, Roy & Kai, Jackson and Matty.

11.01.2022 This map will help if you go for a look at the trail. We've named it Pub Lane.

11.01.2022 Achieved a lot this morning with a small but passionate crew. Thanks to Matty, Pete, Mark, James, Jackson and Wendy

10.01.2022 Dig day tomorrow folks. 8am to 11am. Come out and say hello!

09.01.2022 Went for a peddle today.....WORK HAS STARTED on Pub Lane. The excavator did in 2-days that a team of 6 with pick and shovel would have taken....not worth thinking about it. Can't wait for our next dig-day when we can get creative and add some excitement to the bench.

09.01.2022 Great to learn that a young shredder (Ashton) is keen to dig on Saturday. If you enjoy riding, learning how to design and make a sustainable trail is a useful skill. If you don't dig'm, you can't ride'm!

09.01.2022 Thanks to Wendy, Pete, Michelle and Brett we built a rock solid roller, that grew into something substantial. Great that Brett's partner, Michelle and little Sophia came along to help too. This feature is typical of how we want this track to go. A safe challenge for new riders and interesting to experienced riders. Check it out.

09.01.2022 The excavator boys did a great job. They even left a couple of gifts in the form of roller doubles modeled into the drainage. This is the last 180 degree corner before the ridge top. Dig day soon to get this shaped, groomed with a pinch of excitement added hahahaha
