06.01.2022 Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will undertake Digrite’s 3 year structured training program to develop into a Machinery Sales Consultant. The first year will involve creating an understanding of equipment, procedures and systems at Digrite and administration duties for the sales team. The second year will continue to involve administration duties, while beginning to deal directly with customers and develop sales skills. The third year will conclud...e the administration duties and focus full time on advanced relationships and sale generating. Upon successful completion of the 3 year structured training program, the Machinery Sales Consultant will be the central point of contact for customer enquiries regarding the purchase of new and used machines, which includes qualifying buyers, conducting appraisals, completing costings, conducting demonstrations, delivery of quotations and machinery and visiting customers on site. In addition, the Machinery Sales Consultant will: Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction; Manage the working relationships with existing customers; Source new customers through methods such as targeted cold calling; Manage Digrite’s booth during trade shows and field days; Proactively contribute to the team; and Undertake administration duties associated with sales stock and deals. The successful candidate In addition to having a positive can-do attitude, the successful candidate will have: A keen interest in mechanics; Excellent customer service and communication skills; Energy and enthusiasm along with the ability to remain focused and motivated; Excellent attention to detail; Proven problem solving skills with a focus on solutions; and A good understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word) and general computer skills.
