04.01.2022 Symptoms of Postnatal Depression & Anxiety (PNDA) can vary greatly from person to person. Just as we are all unique and individual, so too are our experiences ...with mental health. Our experiences can look and feel very differently, and there's no "one box fits all". However, this list are the more common symptoms. You don't need to tick all of them, however if you are feeling a number of these things than it is important that you reach out and have a chat to someone you feel safe discussing your mental health with. Your GP is a great starting point For what it is worth, when I finally reached out to my GP for a diagnosis of PND, I ticked every single one of these symptoms (yes, I left it too long to ask for help!). But here I stand today living a life that I am proud of. The struggle is real, but you CAN and WILL feel better.
