13.01.2022 It's TIP TUESDAY! Dr. Alex has highlighted a key difference between adult and children toothpastes. For children ages 18 months to five years, teeth should be cleaned twice a day with toothpaste containing 0.5-0.55mg/g fluoride (500-550ppm). For people aged six years or more, the teeth must be cleaned twice daily with standard fluoride toothpaste containing 1-1.5mg/g fluoride (1000-1500ppm). Check the label on your toothpaste to make sure your teeth are getting the right amount of fluoride!

12.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE We would like to announce, as per the Australian Dental Association's advice, we can now allow treatment of patients beyond emergencies, as outlined in the Queensland ADA's framework for level 2 dental restrictions during COVID-19. Under Level 2 restrictions, more dental treatments are now permissible as of Monday, April 27th. Please call 49223039 to discuss your dental treatment needs

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, What a hectic time it has been for all of us lately. Dilleen Dental would like to thank everyone for being understanding of our practice's treatment restrictions and varied trading hours due to the COVID 19 virus pandemic. ... Dr Sam and Dr Alex have been working with the amazing dental assistants and staff of Dilleen Dental, to continue to provide emergency dental treatment where appropriate. We are continuously monitoring the COVID 19 virus situation, and working under the advice from the Australian Dental Association. We are currently operating Tuesday and Thursday mornings for patients requiring urgent/emergency dental treatment, which is appropriate under level 3 restrictions advised by the Australian Dental Association.
