25.01.2022 Carleton Is a paper-crete chair cast from a plastic shell chair mold and incorporates found timber or steel material as legs. A strange creature, Carleton contrasts a 'Brutalist' aesthetic with green wood carpentry, organic curves with the cold grey of Portland cement.

21.01.2022 Project - Trailer Made Cafe A collaboration between Medium Rare and Dimbleton to design, build and install an array of furniture pieces to get Trailer Made up and running in their new permanent location. So now there'll be no need to track the trailer, you can find Trailer Made artisan foods on the corner of Kerr and Nicholson st Fitzroy. Tucked away behind the super cool homewares shop called um ...... Supercool.

18.01.2022 FRINGE FURNITURE OPENING NIGHT As part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, Abbotsford Convent is once again hosting the Fringe Furniture Competition. There is going to be almost 100 new, crazy, fun and functional furniture pieces on display including (S)poked by me, the D-man. Awards are given on opening night and its a great party atmosphere so come along if you are free. September 18th @ about 7ish?

18.01.2022 This idea was inspired by Pa Jim. His legendary swing had all the kids in fits. A few mods to the original adds some sophistication to the design but it's still just as fun for me and the little one....

15.01.2022 As part of the contemporary furniture exhibition The Edge Sydney, Dimbleton will be exhibiting his latest creation. STATEN TRESTLE TABLE. The exhibition dishes out awards for standout designs in the fields of innovation and sustainability for students and designers in their first 5 years of practice and there is some seriously tough competition out there. Wish us luck........ Staten is a mid-sized table designed with modern living spaces in mind. It fits neatly on a balcony, in a courtyard or versatile interior space and can be easily disassembled into three components and stored away. Minimal material is used to avoid blocking out natural light and multiple colours are available to create a playful aesthetic.

15.01.2022 Project : Albion St Outdoor Kitchen It's been a long time coming but project ASOK is finally taking shape. Incorporating salvaged, reclaimed, repurposed and new materials, this outdoor kitchen adds versatility to an already much loved space. More pics to soon.

13.01.2022 (S)poked frames can now be found amongst the beautiful objects at Five Boroughs. Both the large hanging frame and smaller desktop version are on display and available to purchase. The store stocks wonderful hand-made and designer objects from melbourne and further afield, and it's a worthy destination to find a unique gift or just for a look.

13.01.2022 Serving boards designed and hand made for Shifty Chèvre cheese and wine bar Fitzroy. An uncomplicated design with a neat little carved thumb grip for easy handling. Head down to 375 Brunswick Street to sample the fine cheese and check out some Dimbleton handiwork. Shifty Chèvre is opening Thursday 11 December.

06.01.2022 Another large (S)poked frame has a new home thanks to 5 Boroughs, Lygon St East Brunswick.

04.01.2022 After a small hiatus Dimbleton is back in the mix. This commission for Yoga 101 Sunbury was to dress up the existing reception desk and give it a Balinese flavour. Inspired by a recent trip to Ubud for a yoga retreat the owner was after something warm and welcoming with a rustic feel. The result incorporates Vic Ash and recycled fence palings with a special Balinese dark stain and oil finish. Finally a couple of (S)poked noticeboards (also given the balinese treatment)
