24.01.2022 CDC Africa has just announced that it will only be the second quarter of 2021 for any vaccine to grace African shores. African scientists, there is a grace period, you been given a further 7 months to develop your vaccine maybe you will get it in first . The continent's citizens horn your mask wearing skills, your hand washing techniques well with a full dose of social distancing you will get there. #africa #health #holdyourhorses #research #socialdistancing

23.01.2022 It happens in Iran orchestrated by Israel. Then the proxy states suffer the consequences even the relations with the US are challenged threatening the nuclear deal. Foreign Policy nightmare. Israel smiles to the bank. It hears and sees no evil. #foreignpolicy #politics

18.01.2022 The role of Sahwira in Shona as a chief mediator... shows that mediation is not an entirely a western phenomenon. Old communities in Africa had conflict resolution mechanisms which worked. The Sahwira concept still stands up. Zimbabwe can leverage and export the fine-tuned concept. Well and practice it too. It played a pivotal role in the stepping down of Robert Mugabe. Gideon Gono was the unsung Sahwira. Zimbabwe with its vast experience in mediation should have minimal con...flicts if they use these old age channels. Ambassadors too are not a strange thing in African Kingdoms. The two chiefs Babayana Masuku and Lotshe Hlabangana (whom records call Mtshede) were sent to Queen Victoria in 1889. Their mission, to set the record straight on a misleading document claiming the king has agreed to give his territory in parts of Southen Zimbabwe including the midlands province of today Zimbabwe to the British via the Ruud Concession.

16.01.2022 For many in journalism following a story to its logically conclusive stage is normal and logical. Does the story have a conclusive stage? Maybe, the interest of the audience has the verdict. Stories are oftentimes killed by the interests, a prudent journalist should not abandon the facts but change tactics in delivering the same story so as to engage interests. A journalist is also a constructivist, constructivism based on facts on the ground, not individual images and per...ceptions. African stories are often long and tedious and undoubtedly the scribes become fatigued. imagine having to cover the story of Former President Robert Mugabe and his grip on power, President Museveni of Uganda's rule, Former President of Kenya Daniel Arab Moi etc. They all played/play the same tune through different generations in their countries. How then can you tell the story of suffering year and year out without boring the audience who are essentially your consumers? Like a broken record. The art of a cook is a great example the chocolate cake or Banana bread is consumed by the same audience over and over... The suffering of the Rohingya should be a constant story, no one has to forget the Armenian story, the Zimbabwean story, the South Sudanese story, the Mozambican story, the Mali story, the Mexican story, Africans drowning off the coast of Lybia etc Journalists have limited platforms or maybe they used to before social media. Quality stories should influence ratings if told in an exciting way by a trained journalist. Do not leave it to the NGOs alone! #journalism #change #art #powerofwords

15.01.2022 Cybercriminals have become heterotroph feeding on Covid19 in 2020. They have become a larger threat than the coronavirus. It is a pity that nation-states have become actors too together with independent actors they are preying on vulnerable individuals trying. to survive a pandemic.
