21.01.2022 Song LAST REAL AUSSIE I was scooting through Melbourne on a tram the other day When I got that feeling Eyes were looking my way ... As I looked around the tram I saw I was the odd one out they all talked in there lingo and I didn't know what they were all about I feel like I'm the last real Aussie I feel like I'm the only one When I'm walking down the street and I say g'day to everyone and all they seam to do is just grease ya off But I don't really care they can all just all bugger off I wear my old Akubra hat proudly on my head I've got my RM Williams boots with mud stuck in the tread With a blue singlet on and my dirty denim jeans a shiny new belt buckle on show to be seen Cause I'm the last real Aussie I'm the only one I live here in Australia As a proud Australian I love driving in my ute with slim dusty's CD on stopping at the local pub where I know everyone It seams everywhere ya look the corner stores are gone and replace by a commercial joint that Apu always runs No one says g'day no more and no one seems to care it seems we have lost our Aussie way and lost our friendly cheer .. I'm gonna head back to the country where the roads are rough and dusty the people out there make ya feel truly like ya home Where the kangaroos still hop and the aboriginals still rome camp fires are burning hot and all the folk are drinking lots out there We are the last real Aussies We all get along We live here in Australia As proud Australians So raise your beer or raise rum and we will all sing along Cause we're the last real Aussies And we all know that we belong
